A friend and I stayed here one night before the jungle tour and we loved it a lot. We had a private room for us. It was spacious, clean and very comfortable (two beds with mosquito nets). The pool was nice and refreshing. There are many places to relax and meet people and the breakfast was delicious. We arrived by night bus in the morning. We could leave our staff in the storage room and spend the time there before our room was ready. The owner is really nice and helpful. The place is great value for money! We really enjoyed our stay here and would always come back to El Curricula if we ever will go to Rurrenabaque again!
There was only a fan in the room, so it was kinda hot. But for one night it was bearable. The room in general had AC but we didn’t book it. It would have cost an additional 100 BOB per night.

The hostel has a real chilled vibe and I loved the reggae music playing in the bar area. I was able to chill out in the hostel and paid for breakfast before check in as I arrived so early and was so hungry! The location was great, close to shops and restaurants. The staff are so lovely and welcoming, a special shout out to Sebastian! I also left my valuables in the locker whilst I was away on a tour. Thanks for a great stay :)
Nothing, everything was great!

Rooms were clean, easy check in. Let you chill on the hammocks and use the showers/toilets when arriving from night bus and waiting to leave by night bus. Good location, and helped book a bus back to La Paz. Stayed here twice - before and after our jungle visit :)
First stay our shower was cold, second stay it was hot. Found the laundry to be really expensive! Charged 190BOB for about 7kg of laundry. Was very shocked at that. Can’t bring outside drinks and again, the ones from the hostel add up quickly.

- Arrived early and was able to chill at the hammock area. Socket for charging electronics. - Stayed in a double room with clean ensuite, ceiling fan and comfortable bed. Insect screen (no window) - Bar area to social with other travellers. Happy hour for cocktails. Sebastian at the bar made yummy caipirinha. - Breakfast was sufficient for pre-tour (bread, scrambled eggs, fruits, juice, coffee and tea) - Pool was cleaned every morning.
- Room is adjacent to the hammock area so it can be a bit noisy with loud travellers arriving early and waiting to be check in.

Nice big rooms, beautiful location
Unfortunately when we went to pay the owner said there was an exchange rate that they have to pay in town and therefore our final price increased by around $20. It made no sense to us and was not what was advertised. We argued for a while then eventually had to leave so we paid. It was unfortunate because we really enjoyed our stay. If you stay here just prepare to end up being asked to pay more than is advertised on booking.com …

A nice place to stay before or after a Jungle tour. Comfortable beds, a clean pool to cool off in and hammocks to relax. Breakfast was simple but good and the hostel also had a bar where you could order food and snacks. Only a 5 minute walk to restaurants, shops and bars.
There is no aircon so the rooms are pretty hot, ceiling fans do help though. Mosquito nets over the beds would be good as they get into the room through gaps in the window nets. The bathrooms are quite old and could do with a revamp however it is cheap!

I arrived at 5AM from bus, and they let me sleep on the hammocks for free until check-in. They were very helpful (and spoke English) with planning things to do around the area and helped me find a nice affordable motorcycle to explore the city (highly recommend if you're only here a short time). They also helped me find VERY affordable jungle tours, as the prices vary SIGNIFICANTLY in town. The common area is really nice and spacious with lots of little areas. WIFI connection is strong. Property is very secure. Location is pretty prime.

There were a lot of hammocks to chill in :) There was an outdoor shower right next to the pool so you could quickly shower before/after swimming. There were additional toilets/ showers outside for everyone… perfect when you‘re sleeping in a dorm.
the pool didn‘t seem very clean as there was no filter working and the water doesn‘t get circulated by any nozzle.

The bar was perfect! I stayed in a bunch of places around south america, and by far this is the best Hostel that I could choose, the staff, the pool, the rooms, everything was amazing! I wish I could have those pillows back home! And everybody helps me a lot with the tours and everything I needed in the days I spend in the Hostel! I hope to return soon!
Sometimes the WiFi got disconnected but that was an small issue for the rain and not because of the Hostel, so everything was perfect! Considering that its a place to disconnect everything and enjoy of the nature and the people with an amazing culture!

The pool and the hammock areas are nice. You can enter the common area early if your bus is early, which isn't possible at other places. The staff was very nice and super helpful. I would recommend this place.
There are no mosquito nets above the beds. The nets on the window are okay but not great as they have some holes. Together with a fan it's fine though.
