Gardels Basic / Der Kleine Hans is somewhere we’ve stayed before and have stayed again because it is a good hotel. The “basic” rooms are just that basic (i.e. shared kettle in the tea room rather than your own) but the beds are comfy, the rooms a good size and the shower is powerful and clean. Modern rooms. For a no frills stay I would highly recommend.

Unfortunately the restaurant only has one veggie/vegan option on the menu so if you have anyone with dietary requirements there’s not much choice. Breakfast is expensive - 17€ per person.

Size of room and really good breakfast as well as very friendly staff. Enough parking space nearby and the opportunity for a Supermarket nearby.

We loved everything about this hotel - I would probably say it's the nicest one we have so far stayed in. The rooms were clean, perfectly sized and comfortable. The beds and shower were great. And the room actually was very, very sound-proof. We aren't easy sleepers, but got a good night here. The breakfast buffet was stellar too.

There really is nothing I would fault. All was comfortable, easy and lovely. The only thing I would maybe recommend, is to add a kettle to the rooms - for those of us who love a cup of tea in their pyamas before going to bed.

Electronic access management takes time and concentration when used for the first time. It could be an advantage when you stay more often, but annoying extra work when arriving there after a long working day.

Room was modern, clean and comfortable. The staff was super nice and the breakfast was really good. We also had a really good experience at the restaurant in the hotel.

Breakfast was fabulous! I loved the period property. The restaurant food was very good too.

Nothing major, the online door opening is a bit gimmicky and had a 30sec delay.

Very good breakfast, quiet room in a quiet town

Extra charges for sauna, absurdly designed glass cube bathroom. Room with balcony was nice, but with the balcony door open for ventilation, you get to breathe the smoke from neighbors cigarettes.

Very nice and spacious rooms. The staff was great. Good breakfast with good Corona concept. Good job.
