It was just wow from check-in to check-out. Amazing staff/ service. Cleanliness at its best. Facilities were so superior and complementary supper and breakfast was just amazing.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at ITC Royal Bengal and the hotel exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a professional and attentive staff who made me feel welcome and valued. Their commitment to exceptional service was evident throughout my stay, as they were always available to assist with any requests or inquiries. The accommodations were nothing short of fantastic. My room was spacious and impeccably clean. The breakfast was fantastic offering a wide variety of choices. The on-site restaurants offered a variety of dining options, each with a unique atmosphere and delectable menu items. I particularly enjoyed the local cuisine at Royal Vega ,which was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The spa was truly amazing, offering an array of treatments that left me feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. The tranquil setting and skilled therapists made my spa experience one to remember. Overall, my stay at this hotel was both pleasant and comfortable. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious getaway with top-notch service, delightful dining, and outstanding amenities. I look forward to returning in the future. Avartana restuarant was absolutely a highlight (huge thanks to the wonderful breakfast hostess Nikita for recommending it). Attentive staff, impeccible food, with an absolutely consistently unique presentation. Breakfast also great - lots of options both western and Indian.

Hotel entry is to lower lobby, but check in is upper lobby. We arrived at 3am to an empty hotel, so took us a while to realize we needed to go up a level to check in. (Would have been appreciated if Secuity helped). Also, coming from the hustle and bustle of the west there was definitely an adjustment to the much more laid back time reference. E.g. we attempted to get lunch within 30 mins at the ITC Sonar restaurant - and told the staff multipe times we were in a rush. Drinks arrived after 25 mins, food never did so we have to cancel to catch our group.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ITC Stay Awesome – Truly Lives Up to the Name! Had a fantastic stay at ITC Stay Awesome. The rooms are spacious, the service is excellent, and the food options are top-tier. All amenities are well-maintained, from the relaxing spa to the beautiful pool. But the highlight was the gym — absolutely world-class! It’s spacious, equipped with the latest machines, clean, and feels more like a professional fitness center than a hotel gym. Perfect for both business and leisure. Highly recommended for a premium and fitness-friendly experience!

Great property. Nice room - was in ITC One Suite.

Food and restaurant service could be better. Example - attendant brings sugar on request and goes away after I say thanks. I realise they forgot the stirrer. Fried rice requested at dinner buffet in Grand Market Pavilion was bland. I could go on. The menu at Darjeeling Lounge Hilsa festival had rice, choice of one Hilsa item, fish oil and fried potato; no dal? How is this a festival!! Even the Blueberry drink that I ordered was quite 'fika'. The service was great though.

The word "Royal" truly befits this magnificent property. Everything was flawless - smooth security, a seamless room check-in with warm hospitality from the front desk staff, amazing food, and the exceptionally polite service of restaurant staffs. The property itself is so charming and elegant that I would rate it as the best 5-star hotel I have visited in Kolkata so far. The room is very modern, highly maintained, and the support staffs are always found with a big smile. A special thanks to Mr. Sumeswar of Grand Market Pavilion restaurant for making our anniversary lunch so special. Overall, I highly recommend this luxury property and will definitely revisit in the near future.

Absolutely nothing - everything was above par.

The deco was amazing. Beautiful suite that provided everything you could possibly need. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding was luxurious (extremely high thread count). Breakfast was fabulous. Very good coffee and very attentive staff. Everything about the hotel is of a very high standard. It is extremely luxurious.

On our last night we could hear a noise that kept us awake so we had very little sleep. It sounded like machinery - a lift/generator possibly. We did telephone reception around 1 am and they tried to help but they couldn’t locate the noise. In the morning we noticed that there was a load generator type sound near our room that had not been a factor during our first 2 nights at the hotel.

Luxury at its best. Best decor. Best rooms. King suite i stayed in , wow so spacious,the bath tub nearly waist high like floating on a cloud. Great value for money. Best hospitality. Amazing choice of restaurants. I have stayed in many many hotels and fitness is a part of my daily routine.. i have to say the gym is the best, most spacious i have ever been too, complemented by most knowledgeable personal trainers. When in Kolkata, for me definitely first choice when rooms are available due to only expected high demand.

Honestly. Nothing to dislike.

One of the best stays I have had in a long while. A phenomenal property, very friendly staff and a brilliant Serviced Residence to stay in. Amongst the other awesome stuff, the breakfast spread is amazing - this is a collection of cuisines not just dishes!!! I checked in very early in the morning and they were kind enough to allow me to do so. To my surprise, they did not charge me for an early check-in. The room was brilliant, really large and well laid out. The driver of the car we hired from the hotel (Ganesh) was very helpful and took us on a quick sightseeing trip across Kolkatta, learnt a lot of interesting stuff from him. The staff at the buffet breakfast Grand Market Pavilion are very warm and friendly. All in all a lovely stay.

Perhaps a couple of things : one of the air conditioners in the room was not very effective. The other thing was that this is a very popular hotel with two large weddings happening during my stay. So got a little crowded and noisy in the lobby.

THEY HAD ALOT OF VARIETY BUT I DO NOT CARE FOR A BUFFET LIKE SET UP. I JUST WISH THEY HAD AN OFF THE MENU BREAKFAST. PERSONALLY I AM NOT A BUFFET PERSON.

NOTHING THE HOTEL COULD DO ABOUT IT, IT WAS IMMACULATE BUT DUE TO THE HORRIBLE POLLUTION IN KOLKATTA, THE AIR VENTILATION IN THE HOTEL HAD A WEIRD SMELL IN MANY AREAS. I ALSO WENT NEXT DOOR TO THE JW MARRIOTT AND THEY HAD THE EXACT ISSUE. THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THIS IS BE INSIDE A BUBBLE. IT LEECHES INTO THE BUILDINGS AT NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN. THEY TRY MASKING IT WITH AIR FRESHENERS BUT ITS THERE.
