we were most impressed with the breakfast items in our room. a lovely surprise. the beds were superbly comfortable and linen crisp and welcome. the hotel was old worldy and charming, far better than a boring standard motel type accommodation. the communal eating area was an added and thoughtful addition. and the pigeons added some atmosphere! maybe next time we might encounter the resident ghost!!

just one minor issue. the bed lamp in our room, number, 6 did not work.

Only cereal /cold milk included. Adequate for me as I rarely have a big cooked breakfast Plenty of coffee sachets,tea bags, sugar sachets available.

I think there were pigeons in the roof space but better than possums running about on the roof & fighting like at home 🤣

It had a great common room, spring water on tap, lots of options for complimentary tea and coffee + biscuits. Easy checkin and checkout, with staff tour showing us to our rooms. I was concerned about booking a budget twin room but it was above expectations for the cheap price. Parking was easy.

Closed at 2am s a bit of late noise. I had headphones so that wasn’t a problem however

Good location easy to check in even though we turn up early

The ladies shower was unable to lock properly and I think if anyone wanted to enter they could easily just push into the room

As I'm a Solo traveler found it met my expectations a few clicks from the jetty but I'm a walker so no problems for me to walk by car probably 8 to 10 minutes not very far at all, would definitely stay again barmade very in greeting me on arrival.

Not much really couple of leaky taps in the men's shower room other than that really enjoyed myself.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, good location.

Was worried there would be no running water in the morning for a shower due the water system was down from 10pm till the morning, but it was fixed early, great job thank-you.

A good option if you are on a budget . Friendly staff , good facilities . An old fashion pub without fuss . Quiet crowd in the front bar , good bar staff . I would recommend this place 🙂 .

It was only $88 a night for a family room . Good deal .

Great price, friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and beds were comfortable.

It was quite noisy in the morning with street traffic. It was peek school holidays though.

The bed! I really loved the bed. The room was spacious and very clean. Also the location is perfect, close to the main road and the shops.

The shared bathroom was very clean and the facilities were nice. Good space in the shower with a good shower head. The bedroom was nice and clean

The bed was horribly noisey and not all that comfortable
