Fabulous room with a balcony view overlooking the valley and village. The hotel is only a few years old in a traditional timber cabin style, but the rooms and hotel are modern, clean and pristine. The hotel was warm and bright, the staff were welcoming and happy to assist. The breakfast was excellent and our evening meal showcased the regional cuisine and was exceptional.

The accommodation was wonderful—clean and beautiful. The location is convenient for exploring the area, situated in the center of the village. The room was spacious with a large balcony. Breakfast was delicious, and the dinners were unique and tasty. We were warmly welcomed, even though we arrived late at night. Highly recommended!

The Hotel is absolutely fantastic. The rooms are great, clean, large and have a super view of the mountains. The owners are adorable and friendly. We stayed there for three nights and had dinner every evening. The wine list is amazing, the food delicious. Amazing that this hotel is a 3 star hotel and not more. Thanks a lot

Beautiful location next to the mountains, lots of trails for hiking as well saw skiing places around. Very nice roads for sightseeing as well. Hotel is looking new and super tidy, with very nice helpful staff! All we have eaten were just delicious 😋

I absolutely loved my stay at Alpen Chalet. The entire place is very well kept, and the hospitality is warm and friendly. I had only booked one night, but hope to spend more time on my next visit! The beds! Wow! So comfy, and the restaurant food was to die for. Highly recommended.

Really nothing bad to stay about the stay.

Basic room, but comfortable, extremely clean and with a beautiful balcony and view on the mountains. The quality of the cuisine was excellent, with a good choice of wines and a good local beer. Very good staff. Recommended.

For longer stays, a fridge could be appreciated.

We loved our stay at Alpen Chalet! This nice and tastefully decorated hotel offered us wonderful views to the mountains (room facing the valley) and kind and attentive staff made us feel special! For example great buffet breakfast mixed with ‘served to order’ scrambled eggs with amazing pancetta served entirely for two of us first morning! (it was off season so not many guests). Alpen Chalet is situated not far (~20-30min drive) from local skiing resorts of Borno and Colere - great choice for the weekend getaway without the crowds and with special authentic attention. Very nice hotel bar with plenty of choices for drinks (and complimentary snacks) seemed to be loved also by locals! Good locel wine and local gin selection and all with very reasonable price tag. No problems with parking the car and overall feeling of the Alpen Chalet is fresh, unique and worth a separate visit! I wish the family running the hotel the best of luck and hope to come back with my family soon enough!
