The Mirador has very nice views on the river, the castle and the village. Parking was quite easy, right at the door, and the check-in process went smoothly. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast options are alright.

I have stayed here twice, once in a room with views to the river (which was nice) and this time in a room with views "to the mountain" (meaning the road). I had a feeling that this room was quite darker. In addition, it had a small additional bed (which I did not need) instead of an armchair. Also, no chair to sit at the desk was available. The desk was a bit small for using it as a working desk, since it also was serving as TV table.

Excellent location for exploring the Jerte region. Lovely room ( deluxe suite size ) and good breakfast. Ate once in restaurant which was pretty good. Staff friendly and helpful. Ideal to stroll into El Barco de Avila which has some cafe's and a couple of restaurants. Ample parking. Very nice bathrooms with large bath and shower,

Some service a little hit or miss at b'fast, little or no English spoken which is fine but patience needed. Room perhaps should have had tissues available.

The hotel Mirador has a wonderful location on a hill overlooking the t o r m e s River, the Romanesque bridge, the quaint town of el barco de Avila, and the great Castle. The staff kindly let us enter our room early. They also upgraded us to a third floor Room with a View. The room was very spacious and good. The breakfast was very good. We only had to walk 100 yards to get to the old bridge which crosses the river to the Old Town. It was a wonderfully restful place.

We arrived by bus from Avila, and there were no taxis at the bus station, even though we had called ahead. It's hard to get a taxi and the hotel is up a long incline from the bus station and the new bridge.

We loved our room here,as both the bedroom and bathroom were very nicely designed and spacious,but maybe what we loved most of all,was the view from our window as evey morning we woke up to the sun on the Roman bridge crossing the river to the town!We found it also very reasonably priced for August,so much so that we extended our stay! All in all,highly recommended!!

There was a problem one day with the water but that was something the hotel had no control over -rather it was something to do with the local supply in the town itself

The hotel is lovely and so are the staff.

The restaurant in the hotel and all the other restaurants in the town were closed because it was Wednesday. We didn't know this. We arrived late and found it very difficult to get something to eat in the town. In the end we found a bar where locals were watching football - better than nothing but stressful.

The wild environment, the locals and the facilities!

The atmosphere is like under the weather but I thought it’s for the season indeed!

My stay was very short, but the staff was nice, clean and comfortable room, amazing view, good breakfast.

Large rooms. Easy walk into the old town across the Roman Bridge.

Breakfast. Expected more options, particularly hot food, in a 4 star hotel.

Room was quiet, the hotel was in a good position. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Would be nice to have coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast OK.

Free parking in front of hotel. Spacious room with all facilities, seating area and view of mountains. Excellent breakfast. Excellent value.
