I was very happy about the room and the location of the hotel, it's in between the beach and the town, which worked great for me. In addition, bbreakfast room staff was so friendly and helpful every morning, keep it up!

I would suggest putting a bit more effort in making the hotel more bee/butterfly friendly, more wild flowers and less mown lawns. After all, the hotel is located in such a lovely area among nature and forest, why not make it even more beautiful by adding flowers/plants that could do some good for the nature.

The breakfast was very nice and generous, The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were helpful. The location is ideal because it is walking distance from the centre of Nes, the beach and dunes. The bus stop is also directly outside the hotel.

Check out at 10am we thought was way too early. Also, we think they should offer a lock-up room for guests to leave luggage after check out. We could only leave bags in front of the entrance doors next to reception, which didn't feel secure at all so I ended up walking for 1-2 hours with my laptop in my rucksack. Surely they can find one room in this big hotel for people to leave bags. The hotel could also do with some renovation as it is looking a bit shabby.

Great location, close to the centre of Nes & close to the beach. The room was of a good size, most of the staff was really friendly & it was possible to add a late check out, room was mostly clean & breakfast was good.

Location of the room wasn’t ideal, on the ground floor & next to back entrance so more noise, also the hallway was noisy when people walked by, one of the pillowcases had stains :(.

Great position on the island. It's easy to get around by bike and you are close to the center and beach. The room is clean and provides all things you need. The staff is very friendly and helpful to make sure you have the best stay.

We were slightly surprised that the restaurants closed early on a Sunday. However, we consider this part of the adventure of travelling. Also, the hotel room is not totally sound proof - the infinite baby cries were not the ideal lullaby

The hotel is located in a nice village on the isle of Ameland, close to most of the points of interest and well-connected with the ferry terminal and the rest of the isle by bus (besides, it takes about 25 minutes to walk to that very ferry terminal). The staff was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were alright, albeit I think that they tend to be not very sound-proof. The breakfast was not particularly fancy, however, it did the job. I would think that a bit of broader fruit selection won't hurt. There're bikes for rent - and they are decently priced, I would recommend booking them with the front-desk personnel. All in all, we will consider staying here again.

I would suggest to add a bit more diversity of fruit for breakfast and to work on sound-proof of the rooms.

The hotel is located not far from the beach and the village (within walking distance). The building and the rooms are a bit out of date but still cosy enough. We had also a great surprise in our room: a tanning lamp set in the shower. We enjoyed the special feature (free of charge) quite well. The breakfast was also very good

Really loved this hotel - super friendly staff, good breakfast, location very close to the beach. There's coffee & tea on the room and rooms are clean and big. Good value for money!

In the evening the shower water didn't get very warm, maybe more people were showering at the same time. During the morning the shower was properly warm for my partner. The bed was too hard for me, but that is of course super personal.

No pre-paid booking, thus no cancelation issues. Cozy room, yummy breakfast (included into the stay), friendly team. The location is in the middle of the island, which is very comfortable. The bus stop is just around the corner, plus bicycles available for renting.

Large, clean, comfortable room. The breakfast had a very good variety of fresh foods. Bike rental was simple and a real bargain.

The bed was a little soft for our taste.

Good value for money. Our room had a balcony. Breakfast is good. Friendly staff, service orrieted!

The room didnt have a window to open, just the balcony door. Checkout is early (10:00am). This is also the end time of breakfast. Both a bit early if you’re on holiday.
