My girlfriend and I were on an impromptu motorcycle trip across Northern New England. No plan. Just ride. We found Town & Lake as the sun was setting. The gentleman in the office was very polite and had a dog which totally made our day. Check in was wicked easy and the parking was only a few feet from the door. 10/10 we will stay here again.

Nothing. We were on the road for 15 nights and this was the best stay we had. The rooms were clean & quiet, and the view was stunning. Float planes, loons, stars and the moon were epic as we sat on the back porch and enjoyed a glass of wine before bed.

Delightful resort with quaint, woodsy Maine lodge decor. The unit, which directly looked out onto the lake, had all the comforts, including a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator and microwave. They also offer boat rentals. Due to allergies, we requested a non-pet room, which was provided. The room was quiet, had a little table and two chairs, and a sliding patio door with screen, which was great to enjoy the lakeside location and fresh Maine air. Also, a nice back seating area from which you could walk right out to the lake. Very friendly hostess/owner. Rangeley has numerous restaurants, but only one that serves breakfast, so be prepared for that.

The mattress was a little soft for us.

I loved that the property was pet friendly, as we love bringing our pup along. The location was outstanding! The view of the lake and Saddleback and the convenience of walking to town was amazing. Also, the kitchen was better stocked than my own at home and the beds were by far the most comfortable thing I've ever slept on. The staff were super friendly and helpful and overall, we it was a great stay and we can't wait to come back.

Really the only complaint was the screen door handle broke off and it would have been nice to have a hook or something on the porch for our dog's leash. We stayed early in the season but it would have been nice to have some outdoor furniture to sit on.

The location was very nice. Right on the lake with a lovely view of the loons frolicking in the water. The rooms were small but very nicely accomodating with a kitchenette, Coffee maker, lovely, homey touches with a fun mountain lake theme with bears and moose touches. It basically had everything you could need to enjoy an extended stay during summer .It was also right near downtown shops. Lots to explore.

They were in the process of renovating rooms. I'm sure all the rooms will have a fun eclectic touch. We came a bit off season, so i'm sure they'll finish getting things updated before Summer.

Town and Lake is a very rustic type of accommodation. There is no air conditioning but even in July it is comfortable at night. They do provide Wi-Fi which is rare in that area for a hotel as well as a very large flat screen tv. The cabins are a nice size and they also have a dishwasher. The views as you look out your front windows are beautiful! It is walking distance to town which has several good restaurants.

They were in dire need of a new roof on our cabin and it did leak in 2 places while we were there when it rained hard one night. They apologized for the inconvenience and were told roofing materials were on order. The mattresses crunched and really should be replaced.

Our room had everything we needed - the kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, the lake view was beautiful, staff friendly, TV large and easy to use.

We didn't like was that we could hear the people in the next room. I think it wasn't because the walls are thin - but because they were really loud people! Also there were spiders in the corners of our room - but being that we are right on the lake and the time of year - that's would not be surprising. BUT - I would suggest that the cleaners check corners of the rooms when cleaning.

The location on the lake was superb. We were booked to go on a seaplane trip across the lakes and the provider was literally just next door, so very convenient. The room was a little small, but everything was there, including a monster-sized fridge/freezer. There were chairs outside on the terrace overlooking the lake. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

My only complaint is that clearly a dog had stayed in our room before us. The bed cover had white hairs all over it and our clothes were covered with dog hair. Perhaps there should be doggy rooms and non-doggy rooms?

The location was perfect, we were close to the lake and had a wonderful view. Everyone was very friendly. The room was decorated with nice touches re nothern Maine. The beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

The only thing we can think of is maybe have more information/brochures about the area. We struggled finding good food at a reasonable price. But the facility itself was great.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with plates, silverware, pans, etc...The view of the lake and the location was wonderful! I was there for a wedding and visited other family members rooms that were similar and more expensive, so overall, I think it was a great value in Rangeley.

Large rooms, great location and friendly staff.

I had to clean the room, lots of dirt and dog hair on the floor and the cutlery was dirty. Air con is very noisy, we struggled to sleep as next door had theirs on all night. So if you are a light sleeper take ear plugs.
