Our family of 4 had a good one night stay here on our travel through NS. We checked in late and were grateful someone answered the phone right away and gave us clear instructions to easily get into our room. The room was spacious and had a desk, mini fridge, and armoire as well as the two beds. The bathroom was also quite large. The complimentary breakfast was a nice perk, hot coffee or tea, juice, cereal, bagels or toast, and apples, oranges and bananas. The staff we encountered were kind and friendly.

Some signs of age and one or two bathroom tiles were loose, but it was clear that care had been put into keeping the property and grounds clean and well maintained.

The price was good for a comfortable night’s sleep. The room was very basic and soulless but for an overnight stop on the way to the Cabot Trail, it was fine and clean. We appreciated the swimming pool after a long drive. There was a good steak house a short drive away but the location of the property isn’t great.

We never saw a member of staff. Our room key was left in a box by the office door and breakfast had to be collected from there and eaten in your room. The property caters more for trailers than motel rooms.

The Staff was exceptionally courteous and really went above and beyond to answer any and all our questions. The Owner was a very pleasant man and his staff also to the point I thought they all owned it! All workers were very vigilant in their endeavors to make sure your stay was the BEST. Breakfast was a Continental, But exceeded our expectations. The Location was perfect for our trip to the Cabot Trail so we stayed on our first night and 2 nights later upon our return. Rooms were clean and very Comfortable. A MUST stay at place for the Cabot Trail !

I only wish we would have stayed there and not THE Keltic Lodge which we found very poorly kept up and the Staff at Keltic were NOT Friendly. Just stay at The OASIS and be done with your worries for a Happy place to stay.

The breakfast was good and the location was perfect for exploring the area.

The person staying in the room next to us was completely smashed. He fell into our car and slid down the side till he reached the drivers window. My husband rolled it down and he asked if we could order food to be delivered to his room. He also offered my husband drugs. He was passed out in the chair out front when we came back late in the evening. Not the motels fault, so I didn't dock them for this experience.

Location was great. Nice & quiet especially where there was camping right behind us. Very generous with the complimentary breakfast.

Walls are quite thin. We could hear everything in the next room. Someone was snoring pretty good at night which made it hard to get to sleep. Then at 6 am they woke us with their talking & their radio or TV.

The big hotel extras, I didn't expect. Very excited with spread for breakfast, that was awesome!

One wall sconce light burnt out. But I just hopped on the other bed with a working light. Very minor inconvenience, with a simple solution. Lucky that another patron was present to show me where my key was located. I had indicated I was coming at 3 and arrived at 5, so my bad totally. No inconvenience whatsoever on my part.

The rooms we great high wood beam ceilings. The A/C worked great we actually had to turn it down for awhile because the room was so cold. The location was good by the road but you could not hear any cars when sleeping. The Cleaning staff was excellent fresh towels and freshly made beds everyday. Beds were very comfy adequate water pressure in shower loved the tile in the bathroom. Overall A+

The breakfast could have been better after seeing some photos of the breakfast was a little disappointed. Not sure if it was because of the weekend or the festival. But the selection they had was still not bad boiled eggs, muffins, bagels and toast.

All the conveniences. Clean. Friendly owner. Decent breakfast with fresh food.

A bit of a smell. We bought an air freshener at Dollarama. Maybe cleaner, maybe musty? We were there for a week. We didn’t notice it after day 2.

the reception I received when i arrived, the fact that the air conditioning had been truned on for a while before I arrived as it was close to 30 degress that day and after a three hour drive was very much appreciated - It is difficult for owners to keep the older motel like facilities as productive units , i know becasue my cousin had several of them - the owners of Oasis have done a wonder job with their operation should I continure to attend the Antigonish Highland Gamnes, i will make sure Oasis is my base , my home away from home .....

Really , I do not think I can answer this queation, i have travelled a lot in my years, and some places have been crtitized, but looking at my stay at Oasis i would be hard to put to offer a dislike

It’s a nice place nearby famous steak at the town. The staff is very nice. The bed is comfortable. A simple breakfast is included in the price, which is great and make life easier

It’s a bit noisy in the night due to its location nearby the road. The google maps direct me to a different location with the address provided.
