Idyllic location, amazing staff, fabulous snorkelling, villa was extremely private, loved the spaciousness. Food was sublime, adored the masala dosas, all the wonderful selection of fruits, eye watering desserts, spa treatments, facials and massages were wonderful, literally floated back to villa afterwards. Even though it's peak season lots of space to avoid the madding crowds. Beaches are breathtaking, plenty of reefs, perfect for snorkelling. Ideal if you want to drop off the planet, swim, snooze, or read to your heart's content.

Prices are quite expensive e.g. $22 US for a pineapple juice, whilst spa treatments were outstanding, they were quite overpriced, including excursions. We stayed at 3 other Atolls and were quite astounded at the variation in prices. Seems to be a huge emphasis on selling events like lobster dinners on the beach etc, averaging $148 per head just for lobster, drinks etc all extra. When people have already paid half board/full board/all-inclusive there should be discounts for this. More fish would be great.

Genuinely the best place that I've ever stayed at. From the service, to the food to the location and the surroundings. Everything is excellent! Exceeded our expectations which were already very high! The maldives is an awesome place and the hideaway is a perfect island to get away and get out of it. We did half board and usually we get lower quality food as a result. Completely the opposite at the hideaway, all the food is incredible. They do food from all over the world to a very high standard. Very impressed

Very little, basically the perfect holiday. Getting to the island from Mane was handled really well by hideaway, its just that its still a good 1.5 hours away. Paying for water at restaurants seemed a little odd given it was the same water we got at the hotel rooms. Minor but it also wasn't clear on our first night there

The island was big , green and stunning . The home reef was amazing and full of amazing creatures like turtles , manta rays , and small reef sharks . I liked the location of the restaurants with the beautiful views and wonderful service at the restaurants especially Tina , Mujey , Monej , Silva the chef , and others. I also liked the service when we arrived , our Butler Anastasiia gave us a tour of the island and got us to our villa . She was always in touch and was ready to help us .The buggy service was outstanding , they helped us get to anywhere at the closest time possible. Every villa has a number of free bicycles depending on the number of guests in the villa .The house-cleaning service was good . After every dinner there were always activities like karaoke , live music , and movie nights . We thank Mr. Christophe Adam and Mr. Amir for the hospitality .

There are mosquitos , bugs , and rats.

The resort is so much worth long travelling! The island is like a wild jungle with villas hidden in the greenery. You don't really see other people except in the restaurants. We had a beach villa with pool several steps from the sea and reef. The reef is alive with lots of fish and also turtles, stingrays, octopus - fantastic for snorkeling! There are also lots of nice dive spots nearby. Dive center is excellent and the team is very friendly. Our 8 year old son had a great first diving experience. And our 4 year old daughter spent hours snorkeling. Restaurants are nice (buffet + a la cart) with a wide choice of food and drinks. Better take all inclusive, it pays off especially with kids. Our butler Shahin was very helpful. We spent fantastic time there!

Nothing, just a few comments. The seaplane is rather noisy so better take good headphones with noise cancellation with you. It helped us a lot to enjoy the flight (which is 75 min). Difficult to choose the type of villa using information on Booking.com and the resort's website because it is not clear where the best snorkeling is. Our villa 143 (and the neighbouring villas) is really several steps from the reef. Please see the photo of the resort map attached to my review.

We visited Hideaway resort in February 2023. It was our best Maldives trip ever. We would like to highlight first the team spirit , the service and the management support during the entire trip. Secondly we loved our beach sunset villa (110) the interior, the size of the villa was outstanding. Beautiful view to the beach, super size garden for the kids with a cool pool. If you like snorkel or dive it’s the best place to visit. To find the marine life is literally 3 steps from the beach. I would recommend to take the all inclusive package to not worry about your food and beverage during your stay. ( specially if you drink alcohol ;-) We took that option and was a best choice. I would like to mention a few people and staff but actually the entire team was outstanding. In the restaurant: Shahid who serve us the best breakfast ;-) iIn Meeru Bar: Sonai who served the best food for us, Adi & Agus who run tireless with our cocktail. For families with kids: the kids club offers fantastic activities for the whole day. Our kids (11 and 9 years old) enjoyed it so much, it was hard to take them out of it. There is only one area what they should improve: the transfer from/to Male. As the island is far from the capital, there is only one seaplane per day so you most probably need to take the domestic flight and count with longer travel time. But beside that, the resort, the facilities beside that, the resort, the facilities and the service is perfect! We couldn’t expect more! Diving center: Sara who managed for us many beautiful diving courses. Resort Manager / GM Amir & Christophe who always keen to provide the best solution. Last but not least our butler Muson, who support us during the entire holiday with passion and creativity!

The staff was great! The butler service was very attentive and took care of all of my needs. I liked the fact that every room had its own set of bicycles to use or you can get a golf cart (buggy) picks to get around property. And the spa was wonderful! Scored major points with the wife with this getaway! lol

Not many dislikes with this property. The only thing that I could call an issue but it’s something I have noticed at many resorts is the number of beach chairs at the beach. If you’re a late riser there might be a chance of not getting a beach chair. With the resort at full or close to full capacity those chairs will go quickly! And having available outlets on either side of the bed would’ve been nice. But that’s it.

Excellent place! Super service! Good place for relax and diving.

A bit far from Male.

Overall, the stay was extraordinary. The staff met all expectations and were super accommodating and attentive. Our butler was at our every beck and call and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The sea villa was beautiful and better than the photos can capture. There is plenty to do on the island, including lots of water sports, snorkelling (complimentary), water assault course (complimentary), canoeing/paddle boarding (complimentary), tennis, football etc. 6 days flew by and we still had things to do and see. All in all, a great experience!

The price of all amenities whilst on the villa were very pricey, including activities like jet skiing, boat rides and excursions. Although a really enjoyable stay, questionable whether it was worth the price we paid for it.

What can I say about this property, it’s just Paradise. One will be mesmerised experiencing its endless beauty. The report is situated on a entire island which around 25min from Hanimadhoo on a speed boat. Excellent location. Upon arrival to the location you will receive a warm welcome. It has different types rooms from beach villa to water villa, it also has villas for families. I have stayed in water villa with private pool, with direct sea access and believe me it’s just out of the world. One can spend the whole day with a glass of wine or a beer seeing the endless beauty from your room. The property has all the modern and required services. Rooms were also has all the required eminities from mini bar to bathtub to jacuzzi to private pool. Property has 5 restaurants in total and one can go anywhere to have there food, just in mind you have to pre book your dinner before showing up in any restaurant. And every restaurant has its own taste and excellent variety of foods. Now let’s come to the service, in one word Excellent. Above my expectations, though the service in Merru Bar need to be more prompt but overall it’s excellent. I would also like to mention few people, if you are going to visit this place don’t forget to met Adi in Mathe Feru, Ibrahim, Desi, Anand in Samshara you will love to met with them and talk with them, they provide an excellent customer service. A full thumbs up to them. And lastly I would like to mention our butler Shahin, thanks for your service. He was excellent in his job, was very prompt. Whatever I asked for he got it arranged. Just ask for Shahin to be your butler, one will love his service. A full thumbs up. The property also has different types of activities, water sports. Whatever you do don’t miss out on snorkelling and dolphin tour. It is one of the best. Overall I had a great vacation. And am surely will visit this property again. The proberty is lovely , simply I can say a hidden paradise - the staff was perfect specially the buggy drivers like ifshak and other two team members. - IBU from the service team and madhura from the kitchen who served the romantic dinner in the last day. -HK staff who really did a great job twice a day in the room and make it clean and tidy. Will not forget the super stars Yasmine the butler and Waël thé Chef who really made our Unforgettable vacation working almost all day long with a lot of love. - Also Christopher the GM and amir who checking on us from day to another to make sure all is perfect. The photographer really did a great job too and make a lovely photo session for us.
