Weekend's breakfasts are use to plentiful compared to commercial days. More delicacies from Bahian Sertão as typical cakes, pastries, little snacks, fruits and local edible roots as yam and sweet potato are encountered on Saturdays and Sundays with the same quality than others days. The staff according to communication from reception and general services as cleaning are exceptional evaluating its own employees with exception of lack of internal telephone from the rooms to reception or kitchen - the only one channel is by WhatsApp (perhaps it is not a common custom in a majority hotels). Cleaness, quality of hot water (and sustainable from solar energy!), lunch and dinner give the best quality in a tiny city from heart's Bahia.

The hotel announced in own portfolio swimming pool, including in this channel Booking.com, that is not true! This equipment is out of order since second semester's 2023. Perhaps a little or medium deception because my reservation had solicited in January 2024. It seems that a future swimming pool, modern with infinity edge, is not going to finished until summer 2024/2025 as the hotel predictions. They should erase this amenity on what before aid us contemplate the sunset with a dive and a glass of wine because it look like a false advertising.

The breakfast is excellent and the sunset is wonderful.

it’s an old building and needs some renovation. have spoken to one of the owners who told me they’re planing a big renovation starting now in august.

The breakfast was really good, there were many options among coffee, juice, bread, pao de queijo, cake, cuscuz, fruits, cooked banana, etc. The parking lot is big and from hotel there is an amazing view to the Chapada Diamantina. The staff at the reception gave us very good tips about tours around the region.

The rooms are a little bit old. But they look like what you see in the photos and everything is clean! It's a little bit far from Mucuge, so you'll definitely need a car if you're planning to go to the city center.

Staff was great, common areas are good and in summer it is probably better with the pool and all (it was freezing when we went there).

Rooms however were disappointing, we had a different expectation from photos. It did not look clean (during covid that is worse) and small things that sum up, e.g. window lock was broken, some light were out, shower not really good, no sound isolation (got noisy with a full hotel). We were going to spend 2 nights in Mucuge but glad we changed (in advance) our plans to only one and went back to Lencois earlier. I am not sure you can get a better option in Mucuge.

The location on the hotel is lovely, very nice breakfast and views from the restaurant. Very short drive to Mucuge town.

The fact that they do not have a single traveller rate, I had to pay the same amount of money as 2 people in the same type of room.

The shower was great. The room is big. The food is delicious. They are following all the covid measurements. We could see cleaning ladies all the time. Breakfast was great. The sunset view is amazing.

Due to covid issues, they had less waiters. Both that we were in contact, were replacing the real waiters and they knew nothing about the menu. One of them made several mistakes, and the food took 90 min to arrive. But this is related to the restaurant, so doesn’t affect the hotel rates. Anyway, food was great, we ate twice there even though it took that long for the first night.

The breakfast was sensational. The staff friendly and helpful. The view and the outdoor Fire pit was amazing.

The property is run down. The photos in the website don’t reflect the actual state of the property. It needs some care.
