Reception staff weren’t very cheerful but the cleaning staff and kitchen/bar staff were lovely, the breakfast was great the same every day but plenty of variety for our week stay. The beds are a little firm for my liking and pillows very thin but that’s a personal preference thing! Loved having my bed made every day and the pool was great after a day of exploring this beautiful island. The island people are fantastic and if you need a cab ask for Roberto he speaks great English and took us on a day tour for a great rate with lots of knowledge.

The hotel is a little way out of town, 35min walk it was ok for me but my older sister found it a bit much on the hotter days as uphill on the way home. It’s not a very pretty structure it needs more trees to soften the concrete monstrosity and maybe some shade sails around the outdoor eating area instead of umbrellas which don’t shade much (constructive criticism)

Excellent customer service - a few examples I consider going above and beyond: helping us open wax sealed wine and providing us glasses when we didn't order the wine from the hotel (wanted to try a local Santa Maria wine), and delivering a birthday cake (we did not request). Breakfast was good, varied and filling. Overall facilities and rooms were well equipped.

The building and rooms are dated but only aesthetically. No issues with comfort or functionality.

May be the bigest hotel on the island. A few minutes, by car, from the airport. Very good brakfasts, possibility of eating inside and outside. Swiming pool, big parking, friendly staff. Calm and cosy and very clean.

Nothing. Well, maybe only that, we were there for such a short time.

apartments are really clean, huge, bright and well equipped! staff is very friendly and always available. location is perfect, in between everything! amazing view!

maybe breakfast can be improved a bit. croissants are not the best ones and fruit is not always there. Some pots in the apartment are a bit damaged, maybe could be renovated.

location is perfect! close to the supermarket, close to the antenna site, close to the Vila do Porto centre. rooms are large and full of light! I got the apartment and also had a wonderful terrasse. clean and equipped with air conditioning. staff available 24h!

I am a bit picky with croissants and coffee...not my favorite ones - but it could be me...:)

The property has a really nice pool to relax and cool down after a day of hiking or at the beach. The breakfast is amazing, it was more than we expected and the food was fresh and well prepared.

Although the rooms are very comfortable, some areas of the hotel building need to be better maintained and others should be remodeled The water pressure at the shower should be improved.

Unbelievable - they made me a cake for my birthday! I was SO touched 🥲 unfortunately I couldn't eat it as I have an egg allergy 😫 but what a gesture!

Wind noise. OK, they can't do anything about it because it's how and where the hotel is built. Needs sockets next to beds again this is a design problem.

Lovely hotel great views sat on the balcony , apartment was great with plenty of space and could also enjoy the lovely selection for breakfast , either sat inside or by the pool, a great base to explore the whole island , will stay here again 😀

Very strange property. Big parking space in front on the entrance, great view over the fields. Friendly staff, regular cleaning.

Breakfast - not enough fruits. Ordered Caesar salad during the lunch time for 7 EUR, the worst salad I had in a while. Dry bits of chicken, bacon with a lot of fat, tiny bit of cheese and mayo. I think because there is no competition on the island the management of the hotel doesn’t want to make it better.

A great location for a quiet stay. Excellent staff, good all you can eat breakfast. However, it would be nice if coffee was available all day for guests. Facility is kept clean and the staff are amazing.

Located far from restaurants, stores etc if you don’t have a vehicle. It’s a 35 to 50 minute walk to local shops and restaurants. Facility is starting to look run down since my last stay nine years ago.
