It was so relaxing, such a beautiful place. Lovely rooms, great breakfast & the pool area was fantastic. Everything was spotless. Great value for money & we would absolutely recommend.

The hosts were fabulous, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, lots of choice to suit most tastes, and different things each day. The pool was great, and well maintained. The area was really nice, surrounded by amazing villas The room was comfortable and well equipped.

Not that many places around to eat, we ate out 5 nights and did find somewhere different each night but you have to really search, and all are a bit of a walk.

Host was amazing. Helped us book taxis, gave us advice and even dropped us off in her car at one point. Thank you for being so lovely!

The property was in a quiet residential area with imposing gates and was a beautiful old villa of character. The room was clean. The swimming pool was very nice with a pleasant garden area around in the process of being improved.

The room was small, dated and basic (with suitcases open we could hardly walk around it) with no little touches and the bed was hard and uncomfortable. The one chair had a torn plastic cover over it. The reception was scruffy and unswept (nothing like the photos) there were pots of geraniums all needing dead heading but unloved and uncared for. No pool towels were offered. The breakfast was a huge disappointment. Cheapest meat (spam) and cheese and awful square white processed bread not lovely Italian as we had hoped for. Lots of sweet cakes on the breakfast buffet but we don't eat sweet cakes for breakfast and the offering of fruit salad was dry and looked like last weeks offerings. The host tried to improve the breakfast when I pointed out the quality was so poor and it improved a little. The actual breakfast room was dark and depressing with curtains pulled across, dated decor - we would have loved to eat outside in the garden area. The host was friendly but there was clearly little or no motivation/interest in making the best of this property and it really showed. I do not know how this property gets such a high score as it was way below what it ranks as and was not a place I would wish to return to or recommend. Another example of not caring - table tennis outside out room had been left in rain so completely bent in middle and no use at all. We felt the price was more than double what it was worth. Really spoilt our visit to Puglia. It was, in short nothing like what we thought it would be and we felt hugely let down.
