Quiet area close to the Darling River, very comfortable compact unit with all facilities that you may need - aiconditioned, microwave, airfryer. As this holiday park is some distance from eating places they have some frozen meals available for purchase. There are caravan and camp sites on the property. A short walk to the river where you may see kangaroos, emus and other native wildlife. We have often driven past this place and were pleasantly surprised when we stayed there. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The short gravel road from the highway.

Firstly before I comment on how friendly the staff were, and ideal location on the river and perfect stop over between Broken hill and Cobar- I have to say the cabin I had, has with out question the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in- including 5 star Resorts! Wow what a surprise and recommended highly to put this on your plans
As a solo traveler, there is no hot food onsite to purchase, either take a drive into town or bring food to prep on your arrival Town is within 5 minutes

The location was stunning and the arrangement of the various accommodation buildings was such that there’s hardly any overlooking, providing a great and wonderful sense of isolation and beauty. The shower facility was fantastic, a large cubicle and plenty of hot and soft water. The the communal facilities were clean and useful and the ability to buy food from the shop was very handy for somebody who had driven for eight hours. I didn’t want to go to town to buy food - and there it was.
I can’t speak for the whole facility, but my room was somewhat rundown. The table was most uns-table, 😆 as the column holding it up was quite loose on its base. The wooden bed base was broken so I slept as if in a hammock! The fire alarm may have worked but it looked as if it was missing its cover!

The friendly and helpful staff. Amenities for tents, caravans and cabins. Quiet and comfortable in a bushland setting close to the Darling River, where you can see the native birds and animals. Availability of frozen meals if needed. Very compact unit with good cooking facilities - including airfryer, stove and microwave, as well as cutlery and crockery.
Very little - maybe the short gravel road from the highway.

Great place for a nature getaway! Cozy rooms, clean and well-maintained picnic and barbecue areas. Friendly staff! The lovely girl at the reception is a true professional! The management should reward her with a financial incentive for excellent service! She's amazing!!! Nice hotel motel!! Wonderful experience, highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable outdoor retreat!

The staff were great. They rang us earlier in the day to check our arrival time. The place is a beautiful simple oasis sitting next to a lovely Billabong teaming with birdlife. The place was clean and beautifully maintained. I highly recommend this stop and if we come this way again, we would not hesitate to stay again. Darren and his wife were lovely, caring and went above and beyond to make us welcome

We enjoyed our stay, the unit was comfortable & very clean. We had all we needed for 1 night. We felt safe with the security screen door. This was our 2nd stay here & should we find ourselves in Wilcannia again we would stay here again.
Perhaps the road into the park could do with some repairs.

Good kitchen facilities, large fridge and 5pm happy hour around fire pit!! not lit due to high winds! Very quiet location on the banks of the Darling. Pleasant stop over location.
Could have been better sign posted in town / approaching town. Had to go into local store for directions.

A great place to stay in Outback Australia, on the banks of the Darling River. Our cabin/unit was clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. A large platter of food was supplied to have with our drinks around a camp fire , making it a social event. A good stopover near Wilcannia, on the way to Broken Hill, Menindee Lakes, Mildura, or on the way over from the west.
This is a bush camp style place for camping but with excellent self-contained accommodation. These featured a long verandah with table and chairs. Nothing we didn't like.
