Big shout out to Manuel, Carlos and Fabian. They were all generous with their time, friendliness, and conversation in a genuine way. The room was very secure and very clean. The bathroom is updated and modern. The bed is comfortable with clean sheets and towels. Wifi was fast enough to watch a TV show. Ceiling fans kept the air moving and comfortable, despite the heat and humidity. Great location for accessing the beach or walking through town. I also happened to be there while a tropical storm rolled in. Everyone was very supportive and I felt *really* taken care of!

Only one person behind reception lacked any kind of warmth. Got the vibes he would rather be elsewhere. Only two hammocks, so I imagine during high season there is a wait to use them. You are in basically a jungle, so yes, there are ants (and other bugs) that find their way into the room. It is not beachside, so you will hear traffic, not waves (this was OK for me as I knew this before I arrived).

This guest house is beautiful. The staff are so kind and welcoming, the breakfast is very very good and the WIFI is faultless. Better than my WiFi in London. You can refill your water for 5 pesos. Amazing place to work if that’s your deal. The area is so tranquil and clean, you’re treated like a guest at a hotel. I’ll be coming back here for sure after visiting mazunte

For the price of the room, it would be nice to have a mosquito net (the room is pretty secure, but some still found a way in) Equally for the price. It would be nice to have a mirror; but I’m vein

Really nice property with decent bed and bathroom. For the cost this place is unbelievable. 2 minute walk to the beach and shops. At the quiet end of San agustinillo which was lovely. Pretty easy walk to get to the more bustling Mazunte, 15 minutes or so. My room was a single with a full bed and bathroom. Ceiling fan as well as an oscillating fan that I could plug in. Shower was nice, good water pressure. No hot water but honestly why would you need it in 85 degree weather? Room service came daily to change the sheets and tidy. Staff was very friendly and they have a bistro where you can get breakfast or drinks. Just the perfect tucked in little spot. I would absolutely stay here again.

Loved the location (close to beach, but yet peaceful), staff (everyone was very friendly and welcoming) and the green leafy terrace area. Room was simple but clean and spacious. They have breakfast and dinner (wood-oven pizza). Thank you for a great stay.

Maybe water could be included for guests (but it is cheap to refill your bottle). I would have loved a electric kettle and couple of cups in the room.

I can't say enough what a wonderful Posada this was! I booked for 4 days but ended up staying there for 15 days. The room was clean, bed comfy, good lighting, nice seating outside the rooms so you could chat and meet other travelers or relax. The wi-fi worked perfectly. The Posada courtyard is filled with beautiful trees and plants, it is so pretty -you truly feel immersed in nature. The staff were awesome so friendly and helpful. I especially enjoyed my chats in the evening with Dulce, the friendly staff who was so helpful. and fun to chat with. Had a chance to meet the owner who was very friendly and wanted to ensure I enjoyed my stay and asked me if everything was ok. There is a lovely bar/restaurant on site with yummy breakfasts/food and lovely lattes/espresso served and other beverages and cervazas. The location is awesome, across the street from the beautiful beach, close to stores and restaurants. This place is heavenly and I will definitely return!

Nice little place just across the road from the beach. The room was clean and in good condition with good screens on the windows, so I managed to keep the room mosquito free. Friendly staff and simple food offerings on site. Great breakfasts and nice pizza in the evening. I would stay here again if ever I get the chance to return to the wonderful San Agustinillo.

This is a lovely small posada, with a quiet location in San Agustinillo, just across the street from the beautiful beach, and steps away from restaurants and little shops. The place has a lounge area and small cafe-bar, eating area, and garden (with a small above-ground pool). I had a room with private bath, on the main floor. All the rooms on the main floor have a table and chairs outside the door, looking onto to the garden, and a couple have hammocks too. A pizza oven was just being built, so food options will be expanding. Great place to stay in San Agustinillo: pretty, quiet, well-priced; comfy place to sit outside the room; really helpful staff! And nice fellow-travelers.

Great location with beach just across the road. Delicious breakfasts and coffee served in a pretty and peaceful courtyard/ garden. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Fans kept the air moving making it comfortable for bedtime.

Wonderful location close to beach access. The grounds were a beautiful oasis with many spots to relax and chill. The kitchen and bar served great coffee and breakfasts. Our room was spacious and charming and had lots of hooks to hang our things.

It's pretty bare-bones living - no A/C, no glass on windows, no option for hot water from the shower (but why would you need hot water in this climate anyways). However, these aren't detractors if you know what to expect. It just adds to the charm of the space.

Excellent value for money, very clean, super pretty setting with a beautiful garden, and cosy bar :)

There wasn't much ventilation in the room, so I felt it kept quite warm and humid in the night too, which gave me some troubles sleeping
