The location is great. The Batchelor Holiday Park is so interesting. Our 'cabin' is a container converted into a room, with a sink and fridge. It was clean. The bed was not great but we liked everything else. Lots of space between camp sites. The stars are incredible. We had an amazing time in Litchfield. Bring pool noodles to float in the water holes! We didn't know about that and felt left out! There's a great restaurant next door, that you can walk to. We had great meals 2 nights there. It's a bar as well. The owners feed the cockatoos and lorikeets and it's wonderful to watch them. We heard Kookaburras calling at night. I thought it was fun. There is a mini golf course too if you like that.

I wish the bed was a lot better.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The whole park was clean and well kept. There was a great variety of wildlife and plenty of shade. There was excellent food and drinks available from the restaurant / service station a short stroll next door, and the staff there were great as well. I'd definitely stay at Batchelor Holiday Park again next time I'm up this way.

Budget friendly accommodation loved the pool and the free mini golf and the feeding of the birds. My daughter surprisingly got chilly and they supplied an extra blanket which was great. Happy to help with anything you needed.

It said it had cooking facilities but it was an electric frying pan and toaster. It suited our needs but may not suit everyone.

Well cleaned, good location, room is spacious and bright, staff is very friendly. All these stuff are cleaned including body wash, hair wash, and if it includes some slippers, it would be better. The trash basket is difficult to open; if it can be changed, it will be a better experience

everything is good.

This is extremely basic - you are sleeping in what appears to be a repurposed shipping container - but it fulfilled our needs - felt very safe, showers/toilets excellent, and near a nice restaurant.

Check-in a little tricky. Make sure you have a phone with Telstra as needed to call host and signal very tricky.

The bird feeding at 7.30am and 5.30pm

We were in cabin 6 , and we were unable to get the free wi fi offered. The signal was too weak. We asked at reception and the answer we got was that they had wifi in reception so it should work everywhere else. No pool towels on offer or to rent.

Stayed in cabin 5.. Altho basic, it was comfortable, clean, close to amenities and I think value for money. The hostess Siu was great. I mentioned the fridge wasn't working. She immediately replaced it with another. In the afternoon she brought us her fresh, hot, homemade dumplings. I'd stay again.

There is nothing I didn't like about this place..

David was very helpful when I was booking - helping me get the right accommodation for our family. The cabins are basic but have everything you need for a comfortable night or two. Lovely and quiet location and convenient stop over between Darwin and Litchfield. Very close to the only cafe/bar in town where you can get good meals and a pint!

You need to be self sufficient for food - there is BBQ equipment on site but would need your own equipment if self-catering and not a huge choice of food in local shops

The hosts were very welcoming and the fish dumplings she cooked for us were delicious! The park is very close to Litchfield national park - great base for exploring. The rooms were comfortable and it was good to have a kitchen.

Bathroom was a little bit tired. Shower head could use a bit of a descale.

Lovely green park on the edge of town. The 6 person Villas at the back of the park are quiet and super comfortable. Was no problem to add a fold out bed for our extra child. We all loved mini golf and slept really well.
