Excellent location for Puy du Fou and great town to use as a base - Les Herbiers is well served with shops and amenities. Rooms are modern and comfortable - great bathroom and easy to use car park.

Bar service can be a little steady when having to do drinks for restaurant. Asking for a bottle of water to be filled at reception is a change from previous years (though understandable if glass bottles were not being returned).

The hotel is very well presented and clean. The pool is amazing and it was also very quiet which we loved. The restaurant was also really nice, we had dinner there one night, the staff were very friendly and the food was great. Location is also good, it takes about 5 minutes to walk into town where there are a selection of restaurants and boulangeries. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel as it was a little pricey at €17 per person.

The bed was very hard, which is not my personal preference, but my partner liked it. You’re not able to eat or drink by the pool which was a bit of a shame. Parasols by the pool would also be great.

Fantastically smart hotel, very close to our holiday destination. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and well equipped room. We didn't use the pool, but it looked very inviting. Restaurant food was very well presented and tasty but quite pricy. We would definitely stay here again, but we would skip breakfast unless the price changes.

Price of breakfast. 17 euros was very expensive. Restaurant meals were also costly due to the price of simple extras.

We stayed in 3 different hotels for visiting Puy du fou and this hotel absolutely stands out. From decoration to the level of comfort. We love the room size, the modern design and the spa area. We were told the restaurant was fully booked upon arrival but the room service for pre-prepared dinner wasn’t bad at all and very reasonably priced. We can see the hotel and the rooms were thoughtfully decorated with good and sustainable materials. A good surprise and will definitely return there when chance permits.

Two minor details: 1 shower pressure wasn’t ideal. Water was a bit cold and hot. 2 breakfast portion/variety is a bit small.

Stunning architect designed hotel. Our first reaction was Wow! We were offered a room upgrade for £20 before we left England and glad we did, huge room with sofa. Restaurant was also stylish with great food at amazing value. Definitely a 4* hotel/restaurant. Loved it so much, wish we’d had time to sample breakfast and enjoy the spa/pool but had to rush off to next destination. Would change our route just to stay there again! Can’t wait. The town of Les Herbiers was also a delight, so clean, parts of it were very modern. Overall a real surprise and can’t recommend this hotel enough (late game of pool/table football after dinner was an added delight)

The Hotel was very well appointed and had a car park outside with ample parking. The outside pool was really nice heated to 28° . The pool area was well furnished with seats and loungers. We were also given towels and bath robes for use around the pool. The room was spotlessly clean and had piping hot water.

Room service did not make up the bed. We asked for hot chocolate at the bar after arriving back from Puy du Fou late at night and we were refused by the bar staff. This I felt was poor considering the style and rating of the hotel. The signage to the pool was non existent, we had to ask how to get in and even we were unable to locate the entrance. The changing areas did not seem to have separate areas for male and female (no doors on changing rooms) (unless we missed them).

Perfect location to visit Puy Du Fou! Really beautifully designed, large comfortable rooms with and Inviting pool and deck area. Great value for money. Friendly, helpful staff.

The breakfast seemed to have good quality local ingredients which was nice, but overall didn't quite feel worth the money. Unfortunately we were unable to try the restaurant as it was in use for a private function. This was a bit disappointing, however, I will add that the hotel did inform us of this in plenty of time before our stay to make other arrangements.

The hotel opened only 3 months ago so everything is pristine, with latest designers furniture, in a very polished style which is lovely- though could feel lacking a bit of personal touch. The hotel has a great swimming pool and jacuzzi (they can only be used during your check-in time until check-out) and the bar makes great quality cocktails.

The location is in a kind of new area, retail park which looks a bit soul less and lacks of charm so it is probably more of a stopover hotel than a destination as such.

After a very hot and busy day at Puy du Fou, with two kids who were tired and hungry; entering the hotel it felt like going into a peaceful, safe haven when we arrived at Hotel Parc De Landreau. The room was spotless, and the games room entertained the kids. I also particularly recommend La Trattoria.

Immediately you walk through the door there is an atmosphere of calm in the hotel. The furnishings are tasteful, everything is comfortable and relaxing.
