I love the property and interior. It's a very warm feeling walking into the hotel. Nice setup. Easy to check-in. The pool area was clean and so were the commons area. Our huge room was exceptionally clean. The shower has pretty good pressure. The staff were very nice. The breakfast was very good. At night, they had Taco in a Bag for us to eat. I've never heard of that and, personally, I love that. The location is great. Right off the highway but nestled in just far enough that you can't hear the drone from the interstate.

I didn't like that the room we received wasn't the room I booked...however, according to the front desk, I booked right but the booking.com app shows the wrong pictures. Nevertheless, our room was still magnificent. The hot tub was down the night we showed up but back in business later the next morning. Unfortunately, the bed and/or pillows left me with the stiffest neck I've had months. Our oldest slept on the pullout bed and, frankly, it was more comfortable than the actual bed.

The facility was very clean. Cleo, (I believe was her name)!the employee that was in charge of the breakfast in the morning was so sweet, friendly, and personable. The breakfast was wonderful.

The person at the front desk when we first checked in and out was not friendly for someone there to greet customers staying at the hotel. Not a great first impression. But the other staff that took over were very friendly. There was some work being done at the hotel repairing bathtubs apparently with a sign at the front desk saying because of this, there needed to be access to the rooms at all times. I think that maybe should have been a notification to those that had reservations. However, that did not impact us in our room.

Very nice town, very nice hotel and facilities. As others state a very good breakfast. .Will stay there again and recommend to others.

I did get an email to check in online ..which I thought was awesome, since we were arriving late after long drive, my understanding was that I would able to have a quick check in scanned in my ID and entered all information including vehicle but still had to go through the routine check in on arrival...give them my ID and everything. Not sure if this is normal, but that is my only complaint

One of the best breakfasts on our 5-hotel trip. The morning we left, we were able to meet with family in the lobby to share pictures and memories.

The pillows were too think—there wasn’t an alternative. I folded up a towel and used that for a pillow. I left a iPhone plug in the room. When I called about it, the gal assured me the room had been cleaned twice since we left. But it was a small—one inch by one inch item plugged into the wall. I think it could have been missed.

Great place for an overnight stay. Beds were great. Room spacious. And good restaurant right next door. Do the bridge tour - we drove and saw Valley City’s 8 historic bridges.

We have stay here many different times when visiting Valley City. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. The lady working the breakfast was amazing. I missed by a few minutes getting breakfast and she was kind enough to let me in. Thank you

Your motel needs a little larger laundry room for a big place. The dryer wasn’t working well so I had to hang damp clothes around the room. The front desk in the morning was kind enough to let me put them in there dryer but we didn’t have time to wait. It was kind of her to offer.

We've stayed at many AmericInn's, as they are reliably clean and attractive. I also like that they have designated pet-friendly rooms. I'm quite allergic to animal dander so never want to stay in a room that might have had dogs. The front desk clerk assured me there are only a handful of pet-friendly rooms, mainly on the first floor. Pool and hot tub area was very attractive and the handy guest laundry was a bonus.

Breakfast was a disappointment. Not a lot of offerings, even bread to make toast wasn't available or some kind of non-sugary adult cereal. We had some cereal of our own so just ate that. And please, stop using paper, plastic and styro. It's not a picnic, it's breakfast and much better enjoyed eating on china plates, etc.

We love the AmericInn Valley City. Clean, friendly, and the BEST breakfast attendant in the state! She is the reason we return to this hotel.

All was good. The property is in the middle of an update, so they are still painting, rehanging room numbers, etc. But that wasn't a bad thing!

It's a nice clean comfortable place. The breakfast was wonderful. Employees all were nice, friendly and helpful.

it was currently being remodeled so it was a bit messy. but it was nice to see they were improving the dates fixtures.
