Really big spacious rooms. Served its purpose for a place to stay over night whilst moving to Perth from Melbourne. Restaurant was also lovely.

Towels all seemed to be verrrrrrrrrrry old and could do with an update. I get it would be hard to replace so many items on a property of this size. I know that it’s not the properties fault but people smoking around the restaurant area was gross. I’m not sure what the laws are over here but it needs to be policed better and smoking areas need to be further away from eating areas.

Big room and shower, beds were nice, wifi and TV had streaming all setup, kids loved the pool, free washer/dryer was a bonus. Happy with the meal at the local restaurant, reception lady was nice and helpful

Pets (dogs) wandering out and around coming up to me and sniffin about, didnt know if they were safe. I didnt want to let the kids out with the off-leash dogs just in case. Also, the hotel was compromised by a hacker and messaged me via booking.com to phish credit card info which I did not appreciate one bit.

We booked a budget room. So you get what you pay for. It met our needs mostly - comfortable bed, clean, decent bathroom facilities with some small reservations, functioning air conditioning.

The budget facility appears to be built on a mining/ survey camp format (I have lived that life). While the room is quite good, the walls are very acoustically thin. On this visit the adjoining guests had a juvenile German Shepherd with them. Very difficult for us to have quality rest period with the dog huffing and barking at every unknown sound throughout the night. The floor waste in the bathroom did not drain very well resulting in pooling of water from the shower and consequent wet floor mats. Dinner - we went for the ‘special’.. roast lamb. It was disappointing. Very very tough meat. Took using a steak knife to saw through it. Almost needed my Dads false teeth to get through it! Accompanying gravy and vegetables were great by comparison.

This hotel was well equipped with an amazing little restaurant and the rooms were decent and clean. The pool was small but perfect. It was clean and only a handful of people in an out so was lovely to cool down in. Although we were not sure about the location it was a great motel. The food in the restaurant was really good too! Great after the mediocre options across the Nullarbor.

My only gripe was that we were facing into the courtyard at the end of the row of rooms and someone 8 rooms down sat outside smoking and the smoke came down to ours making the room smell.

It is set back from the road, the rooms are very clean and have a porch and chairs

The signage to find from the road is terrible the pylon sign doesn’t say Great Western Motel and it’s confusing which driveway to use. We sat and watch several people come in unsure if I’m right spot. Breakfast 6-8am only, way to early cut off time when check out isn’t until 10 !!! But the BP restaurant up the road does a great breakfast. Lost opportunity for the motel to make money

The room had everything we needed after a long drive, hot shower, TV, kettle, fridge, super clean and comfy bed. The staff were amazing, so friendly and accommodating... we arrived late and the manager waited and was about to call and check on us. We ate at the restaurant, beautifully crispy chicken (parmigiana/schnitzel) & fries with a simple, fresh salad. Hats off to the chef... on the night we stayed they had been swamped with customers and some menu options had run out, but the chef insisted that every meal that went to the table was right.

Nothing, it exceeded our expectations of a night in a remote area. A fussy traveller might worry about decor that's a bit outdated and lack of choices on the menu at the time but our priorities were more than met. It was very clean, comfy and friendly, food was available and the meals we were served were fresh and good. Thank you for a great stay.

It was a beautiful location. Definitely would love to come back and stay. A quite get away and relaxing

The older lady at the desk was quite rough. She provided the service required but her attitude towards booking.com was pleasant. Having knowledge on customer service I wouldn’t say it was the best. Some improvements would be great on her behalf. Services otherwise was great.

Staff member was excellent in assisting when our booking for an upgrade was missing. Upgraded us to a spacious studio room, as we needed access to a microwave, toaster and kettle after a long journey from the border. Netflix available, good heating, comfortable bed, included 2 seater lounge chair, table, dining chairs, crockery and cutlery. Hairdryer and bathroom products available too.

Room could benefit from a renovation, but was clean and adequate.

bed and ease and comfort to have spa. May benefit from an additional handrail. To prevent a fall. Great washing machine and drier able to complete a full load and dry all before going to sleep.

A little slippery climbing/ stepping into spa for the shower, spa with shower over it excellent and easy to manage all and hot/ warm. as needed. May benefit from another handrail at toilet side.

Great location right next to Highway 1, but still quiet and we were not disturbed by trucks. Trees and rammed earth build meant the room was cool on very hot day. Room had the space and facilities we needed for overnight stay. Restaurant on site was ideal. Staff very helpful - thank you. We recommend and will use again.
