The hosts were welcoming and available to help with anything. The room was very clean and very nicely decorated. The building was charmingly quaint. The location was perfect and within walking distance of the centre of Matane.

The walls were not at all soundproof and I could hear my neighbours clearly. The mattress was too soft for my liking.

Great location with sea view and easy access to facilities, easy parking, very friendly and welcoming hostess, large clean room with lots of storage space and a beautiful shared balcony, good breakfast with a wide variety of food options, microwaves available for other meals

We especially loved this place, the room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. The towels were fluffy and soft. We ended up walking 8 minutes down the road to a great bistro-pub and proceeded back following the boardwalk that follows the harbour back to the inn. The next morning our breakfast was a huge array of food, including, sausage, eggs, beans, crepes, French toast, fresh fruit, and coffee and orange juice. The highlight for me was the local strawberries! The hosts were very accommodating and gracious. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Only thing was the bathroom was a bit cramped. Rooms were on the second floor so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues.

excellent auberge, the host has prepared our breakfast with love, the place is amazing, a mix of an old historic building with present amenities. Her two dogs are so cute and friendly. We would have stayed there for many more nights!

everything was perfect!

Marie-Eve, the host, was very nice, accommodating, and in the Christmas spirit : ) The room was amazing with everything I needed and more. Would definitely stay there again on my next visit to Matane QC.

I am allergic to cats, and although my allergy symptoms didn't flair up much, there was a distinct cat odor in the house, but luckily nothing in the room itself.

The property is very nice; but the owner/host was the highlight of our stay. She welcomed us with warm sucre 'a la creme Miam!. Another guest decided to take the room that was reserved for us so she upgraded us to a suite. The breakfast was very good with homemade muffin, pancakes and more sucre 'a la creme...When I told her how much I loved her muffins she gave me 4 more to go...

Everything was amazing, the Hotel has been lovingly restored and all the personal touches add to its homely feel. The complimentary breakfast was homemade and next level delicious. Also having an owner present on the property is another lovely touch.

There is nothing we didn’t like

The location was excellent, room was great, owners were really nice and breakfast was excellent.

Sadly, we fell upon a heatwave, and the ac in room was extremely loud and the electricity in house couldn’t handle the unit . The place would have been perfect had it not been so hot.

Everything was super clean, the bed was very comfortable especially after driving for 8 hours and a 2 hour ferry. Breakfast was great and the host was very polite.

One of the guests had visitors I believe and they were super loud, but that wasn't the fault of the owner. Was just hard to sleep until they left

The rooms are spacious, clean and the bed is super comfortable. The breakfast is also quite tasty and offers some variety between sweet and savory options. Perfect 1 night stay on our way to Gaspesie.
