After 4 weeks travelling in Asia this was definitely our favourite accommodation. We wanted to stay away from the crowds, and we certainly did. Asli Bali means Real Bali, and we really felt we had begun to discover it in this peaceful place. In beautiful gardens, with statues, ponds and luxuriant plants everywhere, were the very comfortable rooms, and outdoor terraces. There is a lovely outdoor pool, and a restaurant serving delicious Balinese food, but with western options too. The family who run this hotel are charming, and so helpful. We organised 3 excellent tours with them, escorted by their son T.J. He is a very well informed young man, who was proud to share information about Bali, it's history and culture. Also a great driver! We really appreciated the chance to try Balinese fruits, sweets and treats. Thank you so much for everything. We are really sad to be leaving!

I have had an incredible stay at Asli Bali Villa. The hotel includes a great swimming pool and gym, the rooms are big and contain a big outdoor porch to relax and take in the great food the staff make. The garden is filled with beautiful plants and greenery, which provides a great view from the porch of the room, making it a nice and peaceful area. On top of that, the staff are all very friendly and they provide the best service I have ever experienced in a hotel. Especially the owner Wayan is very helpful, cheerful and friendly towards all guests. At the time of my stay I was injured and stayed at Asli Bali Villa for three weeks to recover as I couldn’t walk. I am extremely grateful for Wayan and the staff in how they treated me. Wayan drove to the pharmacy for me every few days, his daughter drove an hour to another city to buy crutches for me to make it easier for me to walk and Wayan’s wife made the tastiest Balinese snacks, cakes and dishes for me (they serve the best nasi goreng and soto ayam!). In short, Asli Bali Villa and the staff turned a difficult time of recovery into a beautiful experience due to the warmth and smiles they gave me everyday. I would highly recommend Asli Bali Villa to everyone!

we really liked E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G! The property itself is beautiful and very nicely decorated. The owner made himself all of the limestone sculptures and decoration, he is a true artist! The villa itself is so nice, the swimming pool is so relaxing and beautiful and the gym super new. The bedroom was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was super neat and cleaned to the detail! The owner and his wife are great; he is a very friendly, chatty and cheerful man who can take you to any tour you want; he took us to the temple in Bangli, the traditional village and to have the best Nasi Campur in Bali! His wife is a real cooks; we fell in love with her Soto Ayam soup🤤 The breakfasts are delicious and they surprised us every morning with a small plate of something typical balinese: black rice with coco, typical balinese pancakes and other sweet delicatessen! The surroundings are super nice: quiet town, lovely people, a waterfall nearby, the rice fields, and a few small supermarkets nearby. It is a very very typical balinese town! You can even do a cooking class at a family house of typical balinese food, it is called Selera Cooking Class, an amazing experience! This is the perfect place to relax from noise and tourists! We loved it so much that we extended our stay to three more days😁 We felt at home and in family!

We really liked everything here! We have been traveling now for 1,5 months and this was the best place we ever stayed!

We loved everything about Asli Bali Villas. There are 11 Villas throughout the property, spaced out so quite private from each other, and set in amongst beautiful gardens and koi fish ponds. The villas themselves are built well, great traditional design inside and out, decorated with many extraordinary carvings inside and out, built and designed with a lot of attention to detail. They have 3 or 4 different outdoor dining areas within the gardens, plus lovely spaces for day beds and massages, the pool is great too. The villas were exceptionally clean. The host Wayan was friendly and professional, he organised a driver for us one day, and he drove for us another day which was great as his English and conversation was really welcomed. He went out of his way to do two trips into Ubud and back, finishing at 9.30pm! His daughter cooks the food and it was all delicious. It was so nice to be in the Bangli region away from tourists and away from any main roads, so it was so quiet and peaceful, such a lovely change to being in resorts. We stayed 3 nights but would’ve like to have stayed longer.

We liked to he there in the middle of the beautiful garden in our beautiful and perfectly clean villa. The breakfast was the best we had, they serve such a tasty omelette! The Bangli village is nice to visit one or a few times, bu there is not much to do. There is also a beautiful waterfall in a walking distance. The owners wife and daugther (i think) were really nice, helpful and friendly. The beds were the most comfortable we had in Bali!

We booked 10 nights there and it was a bit too much as the location is quite far from everything. The taxi is very difficult to call there. Of course the villa offers their taxi services but they are expensive compared to the normal prices. It was quite unpleasant when we had to pay more than booking price when we arrived to the villa - because they charged extra for the payment with credit card. We were not informed about this. About the food - it was really good and tasty but they have only 5 dishes in their menu, so for a long stay it is difficult to eat the same everyday, so we booked food from grab, however it also takes time to arrive there. There were sometimes a few guests in our room - spiders, cockroaches. But it may he understandable as it is in the middle of nature.

We highly recommend Asli Bali, we had the best time there! We stayed 7 days and were sad to leave. The location is amazing, peaceful and authentic. We travelled as a family with 3 children, the kids loved it. The breakfast were very good. You can book massages on the site, and we had really good massages there. What also made our stay special is that they arranged trips for us. They arranged a cooking class, a trip to the Bali Swing and rice fields. The Green school and White rafting. Special thanks to TJ and his family who were so kind and looked after us beautifully. Highly recommend for an authentic experience!

Nothing at all

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful family hotel. The property is very well maintained, full of impressive statues, and offers plenty of space to relax. Within walking distance, there is a charming traditional Balinese village – a perfect opportunity to experience authentic local life. I would highly recommend staying here at least one night to enjoy the atmosphere. Another highlight is the nearby waterfall, which can be reached by a path through stunning jungle scenery. Everything is equipped with stairs, making the walk safe and easy, even with children. It was one of the experiences we enjoyed the most. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with lots of thoughtful and unique details. We especially loved the patterned wall ventilation, something we have never seen anywhere else – truly beautiful! Overall, this hotel is a perfect choice for families or anyone looking to combine comfort, culture, and nature in one stay.

I had such a lovely two-day stay! Everything in review is spot on 🥰 The family-owned vibe made it feel really warm and welcoming - everyone was so kind and helpful. The traditional Balinese architecture, peaceful atmosphere, and amazing pool made it feel like a hidden gem. While the menu wasn’t fully vegetarian-friendly, the staff was happy to cook off-menu dishes for me, which I really appreciated. I’d love to see more healthy vegetarian options added in the future. Overall, everything else was super lovely and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone. Such a gem!

Just small feedback- My room had a slight moist or cigarette-like smell at first- maybe from the aircon - but it was barely noticeable by the second day. Maybe rooms just need to winded out from time to time or some humidifier added.

A very beautiful and quiet place! It lies in a small village, in the middle of rice fields and nature. A quiet part of Bali, which was exactly what we were looking for. The family that runs the resort is very very helpful and friendly. The dinners they made for us were delicious. The rooms were pretty and neat. The garden is beautiful and there is a swimming pool en a gym (much enjoyed by the young people) We would really like to come back again whenever possible.

For us it everything was perfect. Especially for people who like a quiet place. However when it is important to you to have bars or restaurants nearby than better choose a different area.
