The pool was a great win after a long day’s drive. Host provided pool towels! Safe parking area. Shop on site was useful to get a cold drink. Very good location as off the main road.

The only issue we had was that my daughters stayed on the bunk bed. The top bunk was so low that my daughter in the lower bunk hit her head a few times on the bunk above and couldn’t sit up in bed. Would also be helpful to have steps to climb to the top bunk.

The facility is clean. Friendly staff on arrival and morning. The breakfast was tasty and delicious.

The bank bed was horribly hard even an infant would cry the whole night sleeping in the thing, that is not a mattress nor a sponge it is hard. We ended up sleeping in one bed the 3 of us

Great that dinner was an option at the guesthouse, as I arrived quite late. The lady at Reception was very pleasant and helpful.

The desk was very small and was difficult to sit there and work. The wardrobe was a half size unit and did not allow for a dress to be hung up.

Great place, great people, clean spacious rooms with more comforts than most other places we stayed at on our trip and even booked the same place coming back from our trip instead of trying another place in the area.

Soap in shower doesn't foam so maybe it was a shampoo/conditioner combo and not soap? Is really the only thing I can think of.

Quick response by the staff. Very friendly and always helpful. Rooms are very clean and everything is working properly. I rate this accommodation A++ because i stayed here many times. I recommend this accommodation highly to anytime. Thank you 17 on bird. Regards H Chadwick

Generally, the staff was exceptional! Special shout out to Dona! The food was great and it's a great place to stay for a couple of days and enjoy the town. While there's not much to do in Beaufort, most of the facilities are within walking distance, so you can really get to experience the area and its people. Absolutely LOVED the character of the architectural style of the area.

The Wi-Fi is really not all that great. And for someone on a business trip, I would suggest you bring your own Router or use your phone as a hotspot. Wi-Fi seems to only be super fast when you're closer to reception.

Parking for trailers, small cars and big suv's. Friendly. Room service. Pet allowed. Maintained buildings, comfortable rooms with space. There is a pool for summer times. Ducks and geeses . I said that I am a smoker but do not smoke indoors on booking stage and when we got there there was a table and chairs with ashtray in front of riom for me. My rating is 100 out of 10

The rooms were exceptional, very cozy and our stay was peaceful. I loved the lemon shower gel, so refreshing I was so in love with everything and slept really well Communication with reception was amazing we had absolutely no issues booking in the evening. We never got the opportunity to meet any staff as we booked in late and departed early

- We were disappointed in was the wifi I ended up using my data and my colleague managed to log in much later the evening, the rest of us gave up trying -the remote for the aircon in room 3 is faulty

It was absolutely amazing! When I made the booking, I was a bit hesitant as it was not too expensive! What an absolute surprise. The dinner menu was absolutely superb! It was such a delight to be served in your room. My doggy was so happy about the lovely treats! Will absolutely recommend this lovely stay!

The bunk bed mattress was really hard. My 24 year old daughter had to sleep on the bunk bed and was really annoyed about the mattress. Perhaps you could look at that. I think having a bottle of water and a 1 litre milk in the fridge would make a huge difference. Not everyone likes the powdered milk.

We stayed overnight at 17 on Bird wanting a clean, comfortable room with safe parking for the vehicle with no meals as we were leaving to travel by vehicle early the next morning and the accommodation gave us everything that we expected.

The address No 17 Bird Street in the navigation map system directed us to another property so this could be improved, and possibly include wifi and DSTV premium, other than that the accommodation was fine
