We used Annie's House as a one-night stop while travelling to the coast. We booked the Family Room, which was very spacious with a kitchenette and a HUGE en suite bathroom (bath / shower / toilet / sink). After a long drive, the warm welcome and cool swimming pool were just what we needed. We opted to eat supper in the on-site restaurant. The kitchen made arrangements for our meal a couple of weeks before our arrival, ensuring that our needs were met (including a vegetarian meal). There is safe parking on the property. The hosts were efficient and friendly.

I can't think of a single thing that we didn't like!

The breakfast was fantastic. The room was spacious with everything you need: extra blanket, hair dryer, kettle, tea and coffee, a complimentary rusk/fudge, wall mounted heater. The bathroom was clean and neat.

Parking can be a bit of an issue if the guest house is fully booked, but there is space for everyone. Parking is secure behind a gate. I just want to add that the staff really tries their best to sort parking for everyone.

Absolutely delightful stay at Annie’s House! The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The guesthouse itself is very quaint, full of charm, and absolutely spotless — clearly well cared for. A perfect place to relax and feel at home in Cradock. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was great. All round it was a very good stay - comfortable and beautifully appointed suites.

The noise from the road was a bit of a shock for us as we are country bumpkins, but we also chose the B&B because it was central and a good place to overnight before moving on to the next leg of our journey. Speed humps in the road could help to curb loud engine noise of speeding vehicles on the main street.

Annie went way and beyond to help and welcome us. We arrived at 7.30 pm because my 5 year old son had had a sore and upset tummy on the drive from Cape Town. Annie couldn’t have been kinder, making him slices of toast and sourcing medicine. She then went to the local burger joint to get burgers for the other hungry travellers. I was immensely grateful. It was such a balm after a very stressful and long drive and everyone felt transformed by the next morning. Thank you

We honestly do not understand the negative reviews. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the rooms and the bathroom are great, very spacious and clean. The swimming pool is also very nice. We had to leave early in the morning and they made a packed breakfast for us, which was very tasty. Basically every small detail is well taken care of to make the guests comfortable. Overall we had a wondeful stay and we definitely recommend it.

The breakfast and location were excellent. I convinced one other colleague to also book at Annies and she was also happy.

The shower was quite small for me. I was in the Purple room and not conducive for work.

Clean - very friendly owner and staff. Rooms of best linen. Well, maintain 👌 and Breakfast was lovely. I definitely return and highly recommend this hidden gem. Photos doesn't justify this lovely place. Also well priced 😀

Soft Clean towels and toiletries daily. Staff were very friendly. The variety of morning tea and coffee was great.

Unfortunately there was no dinner provided. It seemed very light in the room after lights out. We were not accustomed to the shower over the bath, which did not suit our senior status.

This is a very well run establishment, almost in the centre of town. The owner/hostess, Anie is very hospitable and made us very welcome. There is secure, offroad parking and a nice swimmingpool with lapa for use of the guests. I also made use of the washing line. It was a Sunday night and Anie provided a lovely supper , with optional wine , very welcome after a long drive. The breakfast next morning was also excellent. Lots of extra touches such as rusks, tea and coffee in the room, fresh flowers, and hot water bottles! And I liked the tasteful decor.
