It has all the basics one needs when away, including a restaurant on the property and a shopping center nearby

In the neighborhood it’s known as terra nova hotel. We could not find hotel@Secunda using the GPS. When we asked people around they didn’t know hotel@secunda, until we learnt that it’s popularly known as Terra Nova hotel. The whole establishment is called Terra Nova including a mall nearby. The lady at the reception didn’t offer much help over the phone when we were telling her that the GPS is failing to take us to the property. Shower should indicate the direction of hot water. Use a red marker like everyone else, we wasted a lot of water trying to find hot water.

The room met my expectations; it was cosy and private. I liked the facilities, including, air conditioner. I like the lady who did my check-in at the reception - she was friendly and smiling.

The shower was not clean- it had soap surd from the previous person that was there before me. there was also a lot of hair around the whole room that belonged to somewhere which I found unsettling. the was a bit too hard to sleep on. There was no phone to reach the reception in the room incase of an emergency or assistance. The staff at the reception on the day I checked in was a bit unfriendly and did not seem like someone who wanted to interact with anyone.

The property is well situated in a safe and gated environment. Also provides a serene environment with domestic animals and soft game, plenty of entertainment for kids. Staff are very friendly and courteous.

The hotel rules say the hotel does not allow noise after 22h00 however we experienced noise which went on throughout the night with people laughing continuously.

The staff was friendly and efficient, the room was clean and contained all we need, the location was great and the restaurant, on the premises, was well situated and the food quality was excellent.

We had some noisy neighbours, that could not keep their voices down at night and early mornings.

The room was clean, the pool area. The food at the restaurant was amazing, seeing the farm animals,

The shower was clogged up, I thought I had booked for breakfast but ended up having to pay for it because booking.com rates don’t cover it yet my booking says breakfast is included.

The spacious room and facilities in general were good

Not that I didn't like anything but, a microwave and wine/ champagne glasses in the room would be ideal. The room needs a little bit of TLC (headboard peeling off, ceiling above the bed needs a repaint).

The environment the place is at very relaxing and comfortable. You can have your book and relax next to the pool. There is river that brings spring air and relaxation to the soul. The breakfast at the restaurant is magnificent. This place is my me time where I hide to relax my mind and body.

Nothing all is up to the tee.

It is the 3rd time we have stayed in this hotel. The location and staff are great. All is clean and the amenities sufficient. The Hotel is near reastaurants and supermarkets.

There was no chairs in our room and some of the fellow guest were quite noisy between 21h00 - 23h00 on the way to their rooms and before they have settled into their rooms.

I liked that the place it was more relaxing and nice

I didn't like that we had to come with our own plates and cardlary....you included in your facilities that we will have an iron n a hairdryer but we didn't find it in our room

Room was spacious, bed was comfy:) The entire setting, from the garden to the rooms were in perfect condition, took a walk in the garden the next morning, brilliant! We will definately be back when we present our next event in Secunda.
