The location has good access due to the fact that it is right in front of the East Daegu Train KTX Terminal, And a huge department store, Multiple points for the Sauna and indoor 20 m pool which was very clean and convenient

but the neighborhood used to be a sleazy part of town with many cheap motels and such, so it was not good to walk by. There are many down to earth restaurants though. Was rennovated from a previous small hotel, so the space was somewhat confined especially the front lobby The fact that the use of the Sauna and indoor pool is not included in the hotel room price !! this must be a first for any hotel in Korea. Even though the room price was very expensive

Spacious, tasteful room. Ideally located close to Dongdaegu Station. Variety and quality of food during breakfast service was excellent

Breakfast area was extremely crowded and staff already announced during check-in that waiting times of 20 to 30min are to be expected, which was later on also the case. In such a high quality hotel combined with extremely high breakfast rates it is not acceptable to wait 20min to than get ANY table assigned (corridor, next to the coffee machine or a family with screaming kids...) by super stressed/overwhelmed staff (poor guys!) and breakfast still closes sharp 10 a.m.

Great location, close to railhead, and tons of eateries. Well maintained room and premises. The front desk staff seemed a bit rushed even though I was the only patron checking in at the time. I later realized that this was likely the their nature or training that brought out what appeared to be a very enthusiastic approach to helping patrons. My room TV was unresponsive on the second day. The front desk promptly sent an engineer to check. After greeting me at the door with a deep bow, the engineer shed his shoes in the hallway prior to entering my room. After some effort, the engineer concluded that the issue was with the monitor and informed me that he would recommend a room transfer. Although a different floor, I was provided a larger room within half an hour.

A very comfortable hotel in a location close to the Dongdaegu Bus and Rail terminal. Rooms are quite large and service is very friendly. Lots of facilities in the hotel and many restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

For the price levels in Daegu the breakfast is way too expensive. The buffet is excellent but how much can you eat? My room was very warm and the air conditioning is on the slow side. It takes a couple of hours to bring the room down from the 26 degrees Celsius it was to begin with.

We liked how comfortable the bed, and the linens were so clean. I liked how the toilet is separated from the shower room. the fridge is an additional comfort for food storage BUT may I suggest to put a microwave oven so we can reheat food in the room. Thank you!

We did not like that there are NO microwave in the room to reheat the food.

Location was good. We only stayed 1 night at the end of our trip so we were all eat out and just wanted fried chicken and beer for dinner and there it was....a fried chicken place across the road!!! Breakfast was good and sufficient.The room was super spacious. We needed space to repack our luggage and so the space was much appreciated.the bathroom was also super spacious.

Our room was the last room at the end of a long corridor. But that makes it was very quiet!!

The location was great to around. There are many restaurants nearby. Parking is for free. Very comfortable to drive around outside Daegu too.

Sauna and swimming pool charges are separate. It was a surprise that it was not included in the hotel fee, which is strange for a 5 star hotel. We got a free excess at the end because I complained but it was also limited to once access per day. I have never seen a 5 star hotel like this although I have travelled internationally a lot.

The hotel is well situated near the train station, metro rail and shopping districts. The rooms were well designed and staff friendly.

The hotel had a pool, however, clients of the hotel had to pay to use the pool which made no sense to me. Furthermore, apart from the pool there truly wasn’t much else one could do at the hotel itself.

The rooms are very spacious, the lobby is pretty and the pool and sauna facilities are great especially if you take the wellness package they are worth it. Breakfast in general was just ok but the pancakes are legendary! If you arrive with the KTX at the 동대구역 its basically just across the street.

Its a bit pricey and some of the staff weren’t the nicest.

We had an amazing stay at the Daegu Marriott Hotel. The room was spacious, modern, and clean. The breakfast was amazing, both in terms of choice and quality. The location is really close to the Dongdaegu train station, and very central. We will definitely come back as part of our next trip to Korea!
