I wanted to hike Daedunsan early in the morning before the cable car operation started. So, I stayed at this hotel and it was the best decision ever. You're literally on the hiking trail! The whole way up I didn't see one person lol. And because check-out is at 12:00, I was able to rest comfortably after the hike as well. The rooms are super comfy and the hotel facilities include a coffee shop, sauna, and meeting room. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to use those. (PS: if you're coming from Daejeon by public transport, you'll have to walk approximately 30 minutes from the bus stop to the hotel entrance. No biggie if you're there for hiking)

I wish there was a convenience store there like you usually find in Korean hotels/resorts hah. It's better to bring everything you need (like shampoo, conditioner and body wash) because there's no CVS in the whole area. There are some delicious restaurants around, so you can buy hiking classics like gimbap and makgeolli.

Great location next to cable car. Good range of food options nearby, including breakfast (extra payment) at hotel and hotel cafe. Microwave downstairs too. Lovely clean spacious room, comfortable bed, good bathroom. Very happy 2 nights in this beautiful area

Amazing location right at the base of the trails & path to the cable car. The staff were very kind & helpful, and having the sauna in the basement for 4500 won (if you stay at the hotel) was the absolute best!!!! 50,000 won cash for a one hour scrub & massage at the sauna, just wish it was open later cause I wanted to go every night! Loved the sort of kitschy rock collection art in the lobby too, and loads of restaurants with local specialities within a minute’s walk.

Beds were a bit hard

We planned to arrive there in the evening, and went to Daedunsan in the next morning, so the location is excellent. It just next to the cable car. The rooms were big and clean, beds were comfortable. Staffs are nice and friendly. You can have half-price for their sauna.

The breakfast was poor. The bed was too small for me. Im 6"2

Really liked the full size bath towels. The Korean breakfast was excellent. I didn't try the American breakfast because the photo only showed one egg and what appeared to be a cooked hot dog with toast. Really need to provide a written explanation of what will be served for the price.

The room television was smallest I've seen in a hotel room. The bottle water was not chilled and there was only one bottle per person and the staff would not provide any additional water without charge. When I was leaving, the entry/exit gate said I owed 20,000₩ and would not open. I had to park the vehicle and go back inside to the registration desk to get the exit gate opened.

Good proximity to attractions and local food. Winter stay meant less shops were open.

The apartment is fairly basic. For winter, i felt a drying rack would have been useful for damp clothes. The internet speed was very poor at night.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting.
