We had a blast at Oak Valley over the winter break! The apartment was roomy, but they didn't do daily cleaning like other spots, so pack your own toiletries and towels. The real fun was in the activities. Snowboarding was a hit, and the school got us an English-speaking instructor in a snap. The snow slide and playground were a hit with the kids. Loads of eateries were around, but we missed out on exploring beyond the resort since we didn't have a car. The museum and Stonecreek cafe sounded cool though!

In contrast to other serviced apartments, this place doesn't offer daily cleaning services within the apartment.

It was a bit hard to get to the right address as there are two hotels in different areas with the same name (Oak Valley Resort Ski and Oak Valley Resort Golf, each one with many buildings). The online check-in is only in Korean, and even if I wrote through Booking and social media in Korean and in English, I didn't get a reply. A map or link with the exact address could help!

Reception staff was professional. Room was as advertised-- spacious, clean, and comfortable. Noise from neighbors were tolerable. Check out was easy.

VALLEY village is NOT ski in/out. Valley village is at least a 10 minute drive to Oak Valley Snow Park! There is no shuttle service between these two areas either! Very annoyed at the inaccurate property description! Check in was also frustrating. We arrived at 1400, after driving through a blizzard. It was new year's eve. The reception staff was already behind the counter, but no one could check in until exactly 1500! My ticket number for check in was 47. I was able to check in at 1530. The only reason I can think of for this stupid rule is the cleaning staff was late getting to work because the roads were terrible; but the reception staff provided no explanation so this is likely normal business practice here. Terrible first impression.
