Reception: we were met with a smile and very friendly service Location: close to everything - restaurants, supermarket, parking, Roman bridge, bus station to get to the National Park Room: clean, functional, quiet, and FINALLY a nice bathroom with proper ventilation Bed: very comfy and the pillows were perfect Breakfast: just wow! Great buffet with lots of everything. Price: lots of value for your EUR!

Room could have been slightly bigger, but still was quite okay

We had a very nice and spacious room (Junior suite). Comfortable beds and good bathroom and shower. Very good selection for breakfast, including fried eggs. Excellent location.

Lack of parking was a problem for us, especially as it's so difficult to find a space within 5-10 minutes walk - not helped by quite a lot of rain.

We had two rooms, one was large and very comfortable, the other (a "regular" Duplex with Mountain View) was cramped and not very comfortable for two teenagers. The staff was wonderful: atentive, welcoming and helpful. The location is great, and breakfast was tasty and plentiful.

The smaller rooms aren't very comfortable.

I had a chat with a staff about NOT providing a suitcase rack in the rooms. Not a big deal as I had the second twin bed but found it interesting. No coffee, no minibar was no big deal for me either. Still a good place to stay.

The Hotel Santa Cruz at Cangas de Onis gets all the praise I can find. Although not an expensive hotel the rooms are very comfortable and stylish, the showers were very good and the beds comfortable with a lift to all floors. I stayed at the Santa Cruz on two occasions in three different rooms. The breakfasts were very good, lots of choice. the first time I have had quails eggs on a set price breakfast. Also of very high quality were the evening meals which for a set price was more like fine dining with a good wine. The hotel is situated very conveniently near the centre of town and I could park my motorcycle on the wide pavement outside the hotel, car parking is also possible on the road. The main praise for the hotel though goes to the staff. All the ladies on reception spoke very good English which was great. Unfortunately I injured my shoulder in a motorcycle incident and the receptionists were brilliant, arranging a taxi to take me to hospital, sorting out additional comfortable rooms for me for an extra stay, even translating and printing the evening dinner menu for me. Thank you all the Santa Cruz for your help.

Very modern and comfortable hotel. Our bed was very nice. The breakfast was delicious with a large choice, they have everything. Location is perfect as its close to everything and easy acess to parking not too far.

Our room in particular was a bit noisy as it was next to the elevator. Luckly at night there was not much people using it but it might be different in summer time.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. The hotel is close to downtown, although Cangas de Onís is small enough so that everything is within walking distance.

There is no parking the hotel, and on-street parking is hit or miss. The rooms could use a bit more decoration or more modern furniture.

Breakfast was excellent. Hotel was within walking distance of restaurants and shops. There is a great playground right outside the hotel if you are traveling with children.

We chose rooms with a mountain view. There is a new, large building being built that blocks the mountain view. In my opinion, better not to advertise the mountain view.

The property was located close to the main bus station, which was useful as we didn't bring a car, as well as the main road with all the restaurants and shops. They also gave us a huge room with a view of a playground. Even when there were many kids, we couldn't hear them. The breakfast room was small but the buffet was actually quite extensive and constantly being refilled.

Since the breakfast room wasn't large, we had to reserve a time for breakfast. This wasn't an issue as we wanted to get an early start however it doesn't really allow spontaneity.

Really nice hotel in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was great we could park the motorcycles right at the front door and felt they were secure. Perfect place to stay when wanting some great roads to ride. Plenty of good restaurants within walking distance.
