The hotel is located on the main road, but there is no traffic, so there was no noise at all because it is a very quiet village. The owner only speaks Spanish, but he is very friendly and willing to help. Breakfast is not included, and only available from 8.30 onwards, but we were leaving early so that was not a problem. There is no kettle in the room, but there is a microwave. There are 2 glasses.nothing else. There is a bakery in the village nearby, but they only open from 9.30 am until 13.30. There is nothing else. So, no restaurant or cafe's nearby (as far as we know and we walked around the village). We knew this and brought something to warm up in the microwave and we also had coffee and cups with us, We had a bottle of wine under the vine roof terrace which we brought as well. We went for a beautiful walk just up the road into the hills, there are several walking trails. We had a really good rest, everyone seemed to want to have an early night. The bathroom is simple, but very clean, with a good shower and clean sink and toilet. The heating comes on at 6pm at night, as it went chilly in the room. there is also an extra heating element in case you need it. Excellent value for so little money!

Great location just off the A66, about halfway through the drive from Andalusia to Asturias. Comfy and spotlessly clean room with plenty of space. Good shower. Run by a very polite couple and a very reasonable price. A Via Verde route runs below the town and there are footpaths above, so it's a great staging post if you're travelling with dogs. Thank-you!

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside has a vine-covered courtyard. Parking is where you can find it in the streets nearby, but was easy enough to find.

Nice place for a stop-over on the way. Located close to the highway, with some very beautiful surroundings to go for a walk, my dog really enjoyed the walks! Comfy bed with even a microwave in the room to warm up some food if you bring some.

For a person who sleeps light like me it's a bit noisy, could hear the tv from the room next door pretty clearly and someone's alarm going off at 6am. Can't blame them because it's just how the building is, but just an FYI for people who are light sleepers like me.

Real country feel to village hostal. Lovely vine covered terrace must be great in summer. Lots of old antiques & crafts. Cosy wood ceiling rooms, warm in winter. Handy microwave in room. Wonderful village bakery. Great walks.

Our window looked into enclosed balcony while other rooms look outwards.

The gentleman who ran the breakfast bar was very kind. The room was very pleasant and spotless but the bed was not really very comfortable. Lots of plants and pretty patio. Unable to use the QR code check in. All-in-all though, very good value for money and I would return.

Spacious family room. Perfect for a night's stay over.ñ on our way to Asturias. Very clean. Friendly hosts. Quiet rural location. Good breakfast. Excellent value for money. Would definitely repeat if we were in the area again.

The owner of El Tirol is a friendly guy who serves a nice, plain economical breakfast in his bar/cafe, the walls of which are hung with lovely old Spanish agricultural antiques. The rooms have microwaves because it's in a small village with no restaurant. This was handy for us. El Tirol makes no extra charge for dogs, which is nice. The rooms are very warm in winter...important as Extremadura can be very chilly. The showers are strong and warm too. Just down the hill from the hotel there is a beautiful walking path.

It would have been great if we could open the window to let fresh air in; An electric kettle would have made the room equipment perfect for us.

Very clean room, powerful shower with hot water. Cute veranda outside the room with table and chairs.

Parking is at the front, entrance at the back. Ok except when you have a lot of stuff.

The place is really nice and quaint. Real countryside vibe and well decorated. This place is worth the stay. Also the breakfast is not included but is well worth it, quality ingredients.

It was very hot when we stayed and we had a fan, but AC would have been better.
