The room was fabulous, the location was perfect. Comfortable bed, good shower, very clean and good view across the square.

The breakfast , we were served a half bagel with salmon and an egg. The salmon did not smell good, infact I would say it was not fresh and the egg was the most raw egg I've ever been served. Obviously we did not eat it. So other than this we had a piece of toast, a coffee, juice and a small yoghurt for €10 euro each. Pity because the server was a lovely man. Lots of lovely cafes about for breakfast.

We loved the location, the room and the rooftop bar. Montxo (the manager) was also really friendly and helpful. We had breakfast on the roof terrace on our first morning and the food was such good quality. The room was beautiful and you could tell they cared about all the little details. The cocktails they had available were different to the usual cocktails you find and my husband enjoyed the Espíritu Oaxaca.

The only downside staying here was some noise when they had trades people working on the new rooms which are due to be available for booking soon. We were aware of the noise in the morning. There was also some noise from furniture being moved on the roof terrace as our room was directly beneath it.

Beautiful small boutique hotel in the center of town. Rooms are spacious and nice double sinks. Coffee maker with coffee cups in the room. Huge soft towels and a very comfortable bed. Host is very friendly and explained everything to us. We arrived by bicycle and immediately our host found a spot for these. Even though it’s on a lively square the windows are so well insulated you won’t hear the noise from outside. Would definitely stay here again.

The owner has taken great care renovating the hotel. The room was excellent with a contemporary design and an extremely comfortable bed. The 3rd floor bar and breakfast room is set in a delightful roof top loggia overlooking the main square. He prepared a lovely breakfast himself. The owner has a great love for creating a unique ambience and he took great care to make us feel welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location in main square. Owner extremely helpful and recommended excellent restaurant in walking distance. We only had one night at this amazing hotel and wish it was longer. Our host was really friendly and welcoming, the room was immaculate and the bed was really comfortable. The top floor bar/restaurant had a fantastic view over the town square and we were lucky enough to be there while a large festival was going on. We highly recommend others to stay here at this beautiful hotel

This is a beautiful and wonderful hotel in a historical building that faces a beautiful town square. The design and quality of the renovation and the furnishings was outstanding. We were very comfortable here, and enjoyed meeting the owner at the unique breakfast and bar area. We give Cal Roure our highest recommendation and hope that we can return someday.

Delicious made-to-order breakfast, served on the balcony overlooking the lovely, traffic-free main square of Igualada. Our room was well-designed with a surprisingly spacious bathroom. Very comfortable bed.

Nothing. This hotel is a real find. It's in an old building which has been beautifully restored and renovated. The manager is friendly and helpful. There are only four rooms and the atmosphere is quiet and restful. Because Igualada is full of traffic-free zones, you need to leave your car in the underground car park five minutes' walk away.

The rooms are new and clean, the townsquare is beautiful, staff is nice

We had difficulties to find parking. There is no parking at the hotel, which I can understand, but there were no instructions on how to get to the hotel, which is located in a pedestrian zone or what to do with the car. Coffee machine did not work in the room

The Hotel Manager is the nicest person I have ever met in my life. He does everything there and was phenomenal at catering for different needs and even after we were delayed getting out there. He was about at 5am to give us our key to get in. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in many different travels but this was one of the best if not the best place I have ever stayed. If you’re coming to Catalonia then you must must stay here!!
