It has a delightful setting in an orange grove with palms added to give a subtropical atmosphere. The breakfast venue under a wooden circus tent with views all round of orange trees and palms was superb.

The first night we were on the second floor in the main building without a lift. I will be 90 this month and made it with great difficulty. A lift is needed. The staff were very concerned and transferred to two garden rooms which were much better. However in none of them were there accessible showers and toilets. With an ageing population should not these be standard in this class of hotel.

We arrived late after a long day of travelling. The receptionist came out to meet us and made us feel very welcome. She offered us an electric vehicle charging space. She showed us to our room and then arranged for an evening bar meal. We went for an evening walk amongst the orange trees and around the gardens. The breakfast was all we could ask for

The location was very tranquil and easy walk to the beach. The grounds were beautiful, surrounded by orange groves. The staff was very helpful and we were able to explore surrounding areas. The views and surroundings were just amazing. We loved the nature and sounds of birds in the morning and evening. The room was very comfortable and having decks off of both ends was very special. Created a wonderful cross-breeze! Clementina was the name of the room. We were also very fortunate to take advantage of a 'winter rate'.

Great buffet breakfast. Would have been nice to have a lunch and dinner option. Eating at the fine dining restaurant was a bit expensive and pretty far away to the nearest town to get food. Just the reality of staying in such a tranquil spot.

Estate is amazing, reception team is reactive and very helpful Decoration is sober and relaxing We had La Privada with Jacuzzi and Clementina and both in excellent condition and beds are so comfy Best for a stopover or a few days away from the hussle Citrus restaurant was closed but not notified before Had lunch and dinner at Arros & Bases and the area is beautiful, food is yummy especially the Ice crab rice Breakfast area is also nice with a fair choice of savory and sweet options. Lady serving breakfast is lovely and very helpful.

Imperative to train staff especially at restaurant the protocol such as name of champagnes and wines in their menu, forks for oysters, chair and plate for baby as booking is for 5 people but baby never had his set, serving the drinks, mistakes in order 3 times in a row, bringing spoons when serving ice cream This did not deter us from enjoying the moment, but a proper training is necessary to the full crew at the restaurant

Beautiful bungalows on a large estate surrounded by nature. We've had a very pleasant time walking through the gardens and enjoying the jacuzzi. The dinner at the restaurant was also a great experience! Also, the bar is open all night. We would repeat.

Unfortunately the place is a little run down. Some of the furniture is old/broken/scratched/rusty. Also, there's a certain lack of care from the staff: we've had some food in the garden around 4PM, and 4 hours later, passing by to have dinner, the dirty plates and glasses were still on the table in the garden.

The hotel, the swimming pool, superb restaurants, breakfast, and over all the incredibly helpful staff!

Alcanar is not the most glamorous place, but Vinarros nearby is nice and is half and hour is the amazing castle of Peñiscola

Breakfast was good, but the service was slow. Only 1 server on duty. The room was large and tastefully decorated, there's some lovey artwork in the hotel. There are some cosy spaces with open fires.

The room was a bit chilly (December) There's no lift (Elevator) The only option in the restaurant was a "tasting menu" I would not have chosen this if there was an alternative.

The hotel grounds are beautiful, our room had a hot tub which was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was truly amazing and the lady in charge delivered the best service we've had for a long time. The taster menu in Citrus was good value. Reception staff were also very pleasant.

I realise it's impossible to completely avoid but the mosquitos in our room were a real problem even though we had plug in repellents with us.The service in the Arros & Brases was very poor - perhaps a day spent serving breakfast with the lovely lady would help! It's possible to walk to the nearest town but it's a very long way so it would have been great if the hotel offered 'bar snacks'.

Beautiful setting in an old citrus orchard. Super friendly staff. Luxurious feel. We were upgraded to a large bungalow with an outdoor jacuzzi. Might be the best price/quality ratio accomodation we've ever had.

Almost 10/10. Maybe the fact that the restaurant was closed (but we were visiting end of February).

Very beautiful entrance and alley to the reception. Beautiful park surrounding, or being, the hotel. Stayed in a”tropical” room. Big, with a private, almost garden like outdoor area. Super.

Only one thing. You can not close the bathroom door. It is a glass door that only falls in place, leaving no privacy.
