The location and the hotel itself were lovely. The room was clean and sufficient for a short stay. The staff were friendly. Our dog was welcome :-)

Because I guess it is out of season, breakfast wasn't available and limited options in the village until late morning. No parking available No facilities in the room for tea/coffee making

Beautiful old building with character in the center of town. Clean comfortable room, bathroom facilities obviously dated but plenty of hot water and good pressure. Friendly, efficient staff coffee provided each morning but no breakfast available.

Lovely old building refurbished to a very high standard. Despite being in the middle of winter, the room was warm and comfortable. The bathroom was luxurious. Very quiet even though in the centre of town. The bed was extremely comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff team.

Parking is a hit and miss affair. I found a few spaces free in the small plaza by the Farmacy about a 100m away.

The hotel, a charmingly renovated period property, is located in the heart of the village which makes it an ideal place to stay within walking distance of the castle. Check in was easy and staff attentive.

There was a problem with the plumbing on the 2nd day of our stay meaning there was limited hot water for showering. The hotel staff was very apologetic and it did not disrupt our stay. They also made amends with a complimentary breakfast. We had read that parking near the hotel would be a problem due to the narrow roads . We found something close by though. This is not a complaint as you have to weigh this up with the location, and whether you would prefer a more modern but less authentic hotel with a car park right outside. Of course, if you have mobility issues, this may not be the place to stay in as there are steep roads and some steps in this part of the village.

Lovely old building and friendly staff, great location with bar and restaurant 5 mins walk, shop close by. Good size room.

First, the location: Velez Blanco is beautiful, and this hotel stands at the best possible location within it, with views of half of the town, the castle and the creek. The house has been beautifully renovated, everything looks great. Sandra was an amazing host, friendly, always available for answering any question I might had. I felt more like a host at a friend's place, than at a hotel. And the breakfast was abundant and delicious. I'm definitely recommending everyone to visit the town and stay at this place.

Out of season,none of the facilities were open..Price did not reflect this.

Very warm welcome, lovely staff, beautiful, historic building, comfortable bed, great sleep, the breakfast is excellent value. We will return.
