Hotel is perfect. You can see northern lights in hotel you don’t need to go anywhere but you need camera to see it so you should look the sky with camera if you have good phones you can see. Rooms are clean and warm. Breakfast very diverse and delicious. there are two sauna one of free other of charge. there is a lot of activites you can do. The restorant has lunch menu open buffet around 17 euro per person and included soop, main courses ,drinks, fruit, deserts. You can come with regular winter clothes because hotel gives free snow clothes and special shoess. I am so glad for those clotes because without that clothes we could be frozen. If you want to cook there is a supermarket 500 metres away. Hotel also close to airport.
You can not free early check in even one hour. I can understand if the room was not ready clients should wait but when the room is ready and empty you should make free early check in because after long way and cold weather people need to rest as much as quikly.

Our Ice Hotel warm room was spacious and comfortable. The annual Ice Hotel hadn't been built yet but the cold rooms and Ice Bar ice sculptures were fantastic. We spent ages looking through the details of the rooms' artwork. It was a wonderful experience. We had the Ice Menu dinner which was the best eating experience I've ever had. Each dish was superbly presented and tasted delicious. This meal was very expensive - we wouldn't have experienced it if not for a relative gifting it for my birthday. We were able to walk to see and old church and Sami shop.
There was no way to get our bags easily and safely to our room. We are on a long holiday from Australia so have a lot of luggage. The cabin was a long, rough track and we saw the wheels off others' cases along the way. It would not be too much of a cost for the hotel to invest in a large trolley to make this easier and save damage to their guests' luggage. The hotel's Booking.com was hacked just as we were heading off from Australia and the messages were threatening to cancel our booking. It took a while to realise we weren't chatting with the hotel, but a hacker, and it was very stressful as we already had other issues with accommodations. Although not the hotel's fault, they have a responsibility to keep their systems more secure.

We visited Kiruna specifically to experience the Ice Hotel, so this review reflects a perspective rather than that of a typical hotel stay. We chose the deluxe 365 ice suite for a full experience—and I’m glad I did. It comes with its own sauna and bathroom, allowing you to spend most of your time in the comfort of your room rather than walking to shared facilities. You are able to access to cold part of the room between 6 PM and 9 AM, which differs from standard hotel check-in and check-out times. However, as you have access to warm part of the suite, it is alright. Either way you do not want to spend more than 15 hours in the cold room :) The staff were super friendly. We enjoyed chatting with them. A small marketing idea, it might be nice to give some perks to the guest, such as free entrance or discount in icebar in Stockholm.
On the downside, if you plan to stay for more than one night, activities can be limited—especially in November, which falls in a transitional period between winter and summer. The on-site restaurant is expensive, which is to be expected given its kinda fine dining concept. However, as there are no alternative dining options nearby, it would be helpful to offer a more varied menu or larger portions, as hunger can hit hard in such a remote setting. Would be nice to have some slippers and extra towels in the room.

The uniqueness of the hotel. Quality of the food. Friendly staff. Closeness to the attractions. It is far from the city and airport and you get the feeling that you’re stuck there, but you have some entertainment around which are honestly more options than what you can do in the city.
The amenities in the rooms are way too minimal for a hotel in this price range. And I didn’t like the fact that we had to walk on ice every time that we wanted to get to our room or get out of it. I know it’s ice hotel, but it was too hazardous and it was not even nice ice, mostly snow that was frozen over time! We could have easily slipped and ruined the rest of our trip! They could clean up a narrow path to the doors of each chalet. It shouldn’t be that hard.

Staying in this hotel is an amazing experience. We did not stay in an ice room as you can’t get into your room till 6pm and you have to be out by 8.30. You can look around all of the Ice Rooms to see the amazing sculptures during the day at your leisure for free if like us you stay in a warm room. The Hotel is on the bank of the river which during the winter is frozen over and coated with snow making the whole of the Hotel a winter wonderland. The Veranda tasting diner was superb with each course a work of art and was a lovely start to our holiday. We booked all of our experiences a couple of months before our stay to avoid disappointment and all of them were booked through the hotel. None of us had ever used a Snowmobile but we found the guides very good and all the tracks were clear and easy to use. So we thoroughly enjoyed both the snowmobile safari and the Northern Light outings. We also did the family dog sledging and the meet the reindeer both of with were informative and fun. A holiday of a lifetime Thank you to all of the staff at the Hotel. You deserve a pat on the back.

I really liked the surroundings, the room itself and the restaurants, the design and details like ice figures around. The whole place is cozy and pleasant to spend time in. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We booked a warm room since we don't enjoy cold so much, but you are allowed to visit the ice rooms of the hotel during the day, so that was quite enough for us to get all the good parts of this experience. They have an ice bar on the territory, which is also fun, and you can slide right from the ice tables there. The hotel is located in front of a river which is completely frozen, you can go and watch the aurora right there without any sognificant light pollution, really no need to go anywhere else for this and we've got some magical pictures from there. We enjoyed the sauna which is also included in your stay and is well equipped. There is an adventure center where you can book some activities.
The roads were slippery around the houses covered with bumpy ice, it was superinconvenient to walk, they made a path sprinkled with stones on the third day of our stay, though, but you kinda expect that the roads are taken a better care of in such a place. There was a broken sledge stuck in a pile of snow the whole time and looked like noone looked after the territory condition around the houses. Ice menu: interesting but not worth it at all. Had way better for a lower price. Sauna experience that is booked separately is overpriced if you are not a company of 5-6 people, could use some shared options.

Disappointed the car we had arranged and paid to collect us was not at the station when we arrived as the train had been delayed. There are only a few trains a day and Kiruna is in the wilderness. The hotel must have been aware the train was hours late and so a cab should have been there. It took a while for us to get a lift. Because of this we missed our slot in the restaurant we were booked in and only managed to squeeze in a meal in their other restaurant before it closed. We would have had to wait until breakfast and as we had been travelling for hours it felt there was a lack of flexibility. The trains are notorious due to the weather and there should be a late night kitchen of sorts., Having said that the food was really good, breakfast was great and husky ride beyond magical. I think the hotel just feels impersonal and that they not that interested in their guests as individuals.

All staff members were súper friendly and very helpful. Amazing! All was actually great and we loved every moment of the activities, sleeping in a cold room experience, the staff. The only thing that lowered my rating was the warm room accomodation- even though clean, it was rather run down and does not correspond to its price. But overall, staying at ICE hotel in Jukkasjärvi was a wonderful experience that we will never forget! Would definitely recommend it to anyone who is thinking about getting to know the Swedish Lappland. It is simply magic!

Staying at the Icehotel in Sweden was a fantastic experience! The beautifully crafted ice rooms and stunning sculptures created a magical atmosphere. We stayed in the warm part of the Icehotel in a cozy cabin lodge, and it was a fantastic experience! The lodge was perfectly clean, beautifully designed, and provided a warm and comfortable retreat after exploring the icy surroundings. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the location was ideal for enjoying all the amazing activities like dog sledding, snowmobiling, and ice sculpting. A must-do experience for anyone visiting the Arctic. Highly recommended!

The hotel is work of art and a dream come true to stay there. The sleeping bags provided kept me perfectly warm. The lounges were nice, I like that they had games to keep you occupied while you waited for your cold room.
My cold room was not in the best shape, snow coming off in certain areas etc.. they could have easily given me another room as the entry level cold rooms are all identical. The difference between the luxury cold rooms and the bathrooms is vast. The bathrooms look like a locker room at an old gym instead of a five-star hotel. Also a male worker walked in on more than one occasion into the ladies shower and bathroom area while I was showering/changing! When I told the staff she said "we are supposed to have a sign that says we have male staff" No, you are supposed to have female staff only going into a female bathroom shower and sauna area designated for your cold room clients!
