The wood hotel is perfectly located in the centre. The subtle smell of wood throughout the hotel is nice , the staff are extremely polite , friendly and very professional, the room was very clean with a very comfortable bed and an awesome view of the city. On the 20th floor you'll find the spa with an outside heated pool , a steam room , a sauna and a hammas.

If I had to be really picky the only slight inconvenience would be the shower doesn't retain the water very well so I found the bathroom floor would be wet outside of the shower after use. It's a very small inconvenience but I had to dry the floors after using the shower.

I would not recommend this hotel for families with small kids. There is nothing for kids in the hotel (only a little bit in the library downstairs). People working at the reception desk know nothing about any attractions for kids in the city. Breakfast is also not so much for kids. The only swimming pool is on the roof (20th floor) in SPA, is additionally paid (250 SEK for hotel guests during week), and only for adults (but it's great for adults) - happily there is Eddahallen in a walking distance, and it's very inexpensive.

We had a very good room on one of the top floors. The room was spacious, very clean, and had an amazing view. The bed was extremely comfortable, which made our stay even more relaxing. Breakfasts were very good with a nice selection. There’s also a great restaurant downstairs where you can have a nice dinner. Overall, everything felt cozy and well-maintained.

The windows in the room couldn’t be opened, which made the air feel a bit dry at times. Also, the shower gel and shampoo bottles in the bathroom were empty and not replaced, which was a bit disappointing. Another downside is that the hotel doesn’t have its own parking, which can be inconvenient if you’re traveling by car.

The hotel feels really modern, clean and the lighting and decor is really pleasant (like Nordic spartan), both in the rooms and the general areas. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The foyer has a nice sitting area with arm-chairs, couches and faux furs. You can also grab a beer at the adjacent Paolo's and enjoy it in comfort. The in-house restaurants are handy and the food was quite nice, especially in the Miss Voon restaurant at the top of the hotel - great view from up there too. The breakfast was really good. A good mix of foods, juices & hot drinks with different dietary options too. Handy case storage behind reception if you check out and have time to kill. Its in a very convenient location, as the bus terminal is about 200m away, and you are situated right in the heart of town. It's also a stop for the Skelleftea airport shuttle bus, which is ideal.

Nothing comes to mind. It was one of the better places I've ever stayed in. The mini bar items are very expensive, but that's not unique to this hotel.

Usually I am not found of big hotels and prefer smaller family run businesses. But this one is absolutely amazing if you are interested in architecture. The whole structure is in wood, and this is well visible from both inside and outside. Everything was top: comfortable, quiet, a very good restaurant in 4th floor.On top of this, the breakfast was truly unbelievable. Swedish breakfast in hotel are usually very good but this one topped absolutely everything I have seen before in variety and quality of locally sourced, homemade dishes.

I should have stayed longer…

The breakfast was amazing, many choices available, great accomodations for allergies and other food restrictions. The staff was also exceptionally friendly, generous and helpful with everything.

My partner is very sound sensitive and had hoped for more soundproofed rooms as there were occasionally a lot of noise from a neighbouring room. The staff at the reception helped us ask them to lower the music they were playing so we were still able to get a restful stay though.

Variety of choice from the buffet breakfast in Mandel Restaurant. Lovely, friendly staff. Modern, pleasant, comfortable area to enjoy your start to the day. Delicious and plentiful food.

No on secure or convenient on site parking. Paid parking available in city carparks, or warm carparks in winter time. Not too much of an issue during the summer, but during the winter, guests will have to endure the snow and cold to get to the hotel!

The whole wooden conception was beautiful and stylish from the astonishing reception desk to the room with wooden walls. From the room there was huge view to the city and surroundings. We stayed at the 13th floor and huge window covered the whole wall. Everything was spottlesly clean, bed was comfortable, shower lovely and coffee/tea was available in the room. Car park was just around the corner, so it was easy to find place there. The breakfast was one of the best we have had. We have stayed over hundred different hotels and this one goes easily to top five. Nearly all products were locals (that's why no orangejuice;-)) and huge variety just wonderful. Plus possibility to shallow-fry your own hot fresh and crispy waffles with sweetened berries and whipped cream. And last bonus was beautifully detailed layout for everything. Big, but cosy restaurant for breakfast was atmospheric. You could relax and enjoy from very good start for the day. Taking part in Pride week by flags around was worth thumbs up! Celebrating equality is as supportive as celebrating for examble christmas. Toleration is always a positive sign and makes you smile.

It is not very convenient to control the room temperature with only one control unit for the air conditioning and not the radiator near the window, also the bathroom could use a separate air flow control unit.
