Good location to eat out, to take buses, and to walk around the town. The staff are helpful and friendly, they explained us about places to visit, how to get there, and where we can have local meals patiently. I liked the buffet style breakfast. The best dish was sliced onion salad, which is one of the typical products in Hengchun. Everyone must try it! We also appreciated free self-laundry services. The room was cozy and comfortable for just two of us.

The restaurant we had breakfast was on basement 1 without window, so that we felt a bit stuffy. We prefer a dining place with windows.

Everything in the room was perfect: good size, very good shower, good lighting ( except for the bathroom), water bottles every day. Excellent bedding and pillows. Quiet and good soundproofing from the outside noise. Staff was very helpful even if they don't speak English....they tried everything with their translation devices on the cellphone. Free good quality bicycles, I enjoyed this for 3 days in a row with...a padlock...if you asked them. Very good value for the price paid.

Lighting in the bathroom is not sufficient. The breakfast is very oriented only for Asian people....no eggs every morning and not enough fruits ( just a simple banana will be appreciated and it's cheap as well). These are the 2 reasons why I didn't give a 10 rating, but....9.

Location was fine to walk into old city and explore. Free coffee and hot choc in the foyer was a nice touch.

Uneven steps of the stairs could be difficult for some people, some step very tall. There is a small lift next to the stairs. I had read the reviews to expect a cramped room with loud air conditioning, so no surprise there. Tiny bathroom. For the low price and overnight stay, we were happy with that.

The lady at the front desk is really helpful. The hotel is in a good location. Maybe a bit out of date but still a good value and comfortable place to stay. Breakfast is very good .
