Stayed here 10 years ago and had such a great time we wanted to revisit. The property has aged as can be seen from the furnishings and facilities. Still a clean and comfortable stay overall. Location is a little far but a shuttle to town is provided and there are lots of activities to be done in the hotel.

Property has aged, as can be seen from furnishings and facilities. They used to offer a special menu (during dinner) for guests staying more than 1 night but they no longer do that. Great stay but given the condition vs price of the hotel, wld expect better upkeep.

Fantastic hotel. The onsen and hot springs are incredible - beautifully laid out with a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. The rooms are tastefully designed, clean, comfortable and baths are supplied with hot spring water on tap. We ate dinner and breakfast in the buffet and both were very good. The staff are helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Thank you!

The hotel is very beautiful. Settled at the foot of a hill. With many family oriented recreational facilities and activities. We had to stay indoor at the hotel for 3 days because of a typhoon but we felt safe, cared by the staff and not bored!

The food menu for the buffet can vary a bit. For guests staying for a few days, it would be better if there are different dishes provided.

The hotel has a wide range of facilities for family- we liked the outdoor pool and the herbal spa. The fish foot bath was a highlight for the kids. The dinner and breakfast were good with lots of variety of food. The tatami family room was very special Japanese style which I liked. Of course the heated toilet seat was much appreciated.

The summer time was simply too hot for us to stay outdoors- the pool water was warm like bath water so we couldn’t stay too long. The hotel is more suitable for winter season I believe. The dinner didnt offer much vegetarian food in European style, except salad.

Stayed in the quadruple room with mountain view. Very large room able to accommodate family of 4/5 comfortably. Sliding doors allow for separation of sleeping areas and more privacy. Free snacks and drinks provided in the room are a nice touch. Excellent buffet spread. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of facilities and activities available for the whole family within the resort. kids particularly enjoyed the indoor sandpit and play area. A large outdoor pool area with a variety of hotspring baths.

Room faces the hillside but with outdoor trash disposal area below. The room hotspring bath is large but in a windowless room which dampens the experience. The resort is a distance away from the town and train station. Shuttle service is available but need to pre-book.

Service location food facilities were excellent. Everything is taken care of including having towels available at the pools The night buffet was very good quality but the zen garden restaurant chefs menu was even better. The hotel also had a lot of free activities for guests which included hiking tour and craft activities . There's a free library for guests with lots and lots of books on lend.

Fantastic experience for all ages. Great half-board buffet selection. Friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms are dated but kept very clean and tidy. The smell of the tatami floors really gives the Japanese relaxing vibe. There are nearby short walks to the waterfall, and within the hotel, plenty of DIY projects, Nintendo Switch, pool and table tennis, traditional music performance and yoga to keep you occupied within the complex.

The staff is great. The territory is quite big and the outside pool and hot springs are very nice. There’s a lot of entertainment for kids, since we don’t have ones it was quite a waste. We did enjoy the performance in the evening though

The food in the buffet was average. The room and the hotel itself looks quite old. If this hotel was cheaper, then it would be quite fair (like Taitung 老爺 for example), I honestly didn’t quite understand what for is such a price.

There were many activities to choose from, some of which I have not heard of in other accommodations. I love how the hotel pays attention to small details like anti mosquito sprays or alcohol sanitizers that are provided in each outdoor location.

I think it's still a little bit pricey for its value.

The staff went above and beyond what was expected. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were exceptional. The Japanese room was calming and the balcony allowed myself and my partner to unwind having a drink together. The out door spa was another highlight, the different pools were varied and the fish were a great bonus. Overall- from when we arrived until we left - I would like to reiterate how exceptional the staff were at every possible opportunity.
