The breakfast was plentiful, varied and hearty. Delicious juice, a range of ripe fruit, soup, meat with vegetables, potatoes, fried plantain, at times rice or pasta, veggies….and eggs to order. Tea and coffee were offered, but powdered coffee. Our room was spacious with a comfy bed and a very adequate mosquito net. It had a kettle with coffee and tea provided. Fresh bottled water given daily. So we really liked our room. It came with a small outdoor veranda, sofa and table. Bathroom a bit basic but very functional. We ate in every evening and the food was plentiful and decent. It is always freshly cooked so they ask you to pre order 30 minutes before you wish to eat. We enjoyed all our food. And we asked for lunch boxes one day - they were hearty. The Lodge is set in lush gardens so it’s very peaceful, with Blue Monkies, Hornbills and more present daily. We loved the tranquility. And it’s easy to walk into Lushoto, about 50 minutes on safe tracks. And the staff were lovely - friendly and helpful, a real asset to the hotel.

We felt that all our needs were met and that nothing disappointed us.

Wonderful location on huge, beautiful grounds - in, of course, a very lush and magical area. Large rooms with everything we needed, including hair dryer, good mosquito nets, and comfy beds. And, not least, a super-friendly staff. The manager arranged personal transport for us to Mombo at an extremely fair price compared to taxis. Excellent breakfast with great variety, not least the extremely tasty avocado juice. Dinner was also very good - and very good value. Be aware, that you need to order dinner up to an hour in advance (at least in the low season) - but that's not exactly uncommon in Tanzania.

Very minor things: There were a few short power outages during our stay, but that's also usual for Tanzania - even in much more densely populated areas like Arusha. Internet access via wifi was out when we arrived, but was soon fixed - and seemed to affect the entire area, rather than being specific to the lodge.

I really enjoyed my stay at Lushoto Executive Lodge. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help, which made me feel at home. The location is peaceful with beautiful views, perfect for relaxing after exploring Lushoto. The food was also delicious and freshly prepared. I would definitely recommend this lodge to anyone visiting Lushoto!

This is place is paradise! Everything was perfect. The location is not in the center of Lushoto, but you can easily get there with a Boda. The view is breathtaking and service ist excellent. Everybody is so friendly, helpful and not pushy at all. I loved it so much, that I even stayed longer, than I originally planned. Thanks for everything.

Nothing. If someones really fussy, maybe the squeaking from the bathroom door. But I didn't mind that at all.

The hotel is situated in a very nice, calming and relaxing environment. The property is big with many areas to relax including an own waterfall in a lush green environment. Staff is great, friendly and happy to help. The food in the restaurant is very good as well. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back one day

Secluded within acres of lush green forest. The accommodation is approximately 10 minutes drive from the town center. It is definitely worth visiting especially if you love peace, nature and tranquility. It is a good place to go and relax because it has this environment of being fully immersed in nature. Staff will prepare food and generally assist you with requests. I found them exceptionally friendly and did their best for us and made us feel comfortable and at home. It also has a small gym and sauna, with various beauty treatments on offer although you might need to pay a bit extra for massages, etc. They will also help to arrange trips if you need to visit anywhere. From the town you can use a taxi or vehicle, preferably a 4x4 or the hotel will arrange if you contact them in advance. A boda boda can also take you for around 3000 tzs from town but if you have luggage, it's better using a vehicle. .

Don't order anything with beef from the menu. Very tough indeed. All chicken and veggie meals are fine. Service is very friendly but if the place is busy, be prepared for a very long wait for food to arrive.

The hotel complex is beautiful with many amenities and nicely furnished rooms. I especially enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace in front of my room in the evening. The breakfast is very rich and delicious. I wish I could have stayed longer but I only had planned 3 days. Would very much like to come again for at least a week.

The area is very beautiful. A great garden. Spacious rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lodge is NOT in the village center, you need a ride to get there from the bus. Otherwise It's a 20-30 min walk, uphill. The Lodge is here: 04°47′49.99″S 38°18′10.82″E

Loved the great view from the hotel and the beautiful garden. Staff were all friendly, nice and helpful. Good breakfast and good buffet dinner.

The description of rooms were not updated on the website when I booked. It showed the room with two beds but it had actually only one bed. But the manager immediately worked on updating the website and also upgraded our room to a better room with two beds without charging us. So all was well.
