After many unsuccessful attempts on my side, I am finally able to express my gratitude to this hotel and especially to the people who work there. I have been always warmly welcomed here as a guest for many years now. Since 1992, this house has been my “home away from home” at least once whenever I am in Ban Chang. But what constitutes for me as a “home away from home”? It's not just the furniture or the decoration (that has changed over the years), it's more the people who work hard here with their love for what they do and transform the stay into an oasis of security and peace in my hectic working world. Starting with check-in, the chambermaids/men, the people in the background or in the restaurants. Everyone tried and tries to make my stay as pleasant as possible. Thank you for all the years that I always felt a warm WELCOME here. However, special thanks to the then “pool manager” Mr. Big, as well as the current Khun Bird, to Khun Anchisa ,the F&B manager, who has always been consistent over the years in her highly professional manner and best service quality, to last but not least Khun Tarn who, as a manager, not only provides outstanding exceptionally professional services but is also always lovably towards all guests. She always is focused on the guest wellbeing and actively supports them in their worries and needs. So thank you again EVERYONE , connected with the hope that you all may continue to experience appreciative guests in your years to come.

The pool

The villa was small and didn't look anything like the size in the pictures, the bathroom was very roughly finished and my son (5) couldn't reach the sink taps by himself. Also very little place to put things away from our suitcases. A big spider fell on my while I used the toilet so I also didn't like the idea that insects could get in and crawl around. We stayed two nights of our 14 nights booked (was staying here to be close to my son's new school while we figured out the area) but I had to find another temporary option and having stayed just 2 out of the booked and paid for nights, I received no refund and they pestered me to settle our food bill on the night before we left....I had no intention of not paying, I don't think it warranted coming into our villa to remind us at 10pm!!!

We did not get the room we booked. The description was a 2 separate bedroom, 1 living room and bathtub Villa. We only received a 1 room villa with two beds. The airport transfer was insanely expensive in comparison to Grab and Bolt, and the drivers didn’t even know where the resort was. We requested a refund because the room we received did not match the description to which we booked it under. The back and forth has been ridiculous and there has been little to no progress with our complaint even 5 days after check in. Will not be coming here again.
