From the moment we arrived, the staff were both incredibly friendly and attentive. Our bags were taken to our room and we were given an overview of the facilities and food options. There is free tea, coffee, water and some snacks at the reception kitchen, which is a really nice touch. The room itself… wow. We stayed in one of the lake view cottages and it was an absolute slice of heaven. In the middle of a jam packed busy travel schedule, this was exactly what we needed. The pool area is small but clean and idyllic. We enjoyed catching some rays in the late afternoon and then in the morning before checking out. Only two sunbed, but most of the hotel rooms have private pools so we didn’t find this affected us. The location is prime for the White Temple in particular. They offer free bikes which we used to cycle over for the final hour of opening, which was the perfect time for a quiet visit. We were tempted by the morning but we were too relaxed to get up and leave in the end. I anticipate the morning is even more of a quiet time to visit the temple though. You MUST get the Pad Thai. It was exceptional and different from any others we’ve tried. Definitely had their own twist on the dish which we loved. If you’re looking for a completely unique stay, outside of the tourist areas for one or a few nights, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. A final shoutout to the staff who immediately did a ‘nervous’ of our room after checking out, and returned my partner’s shorts which he’d left. Those are the touches that make all the difference to a stay. Thank you Doowall Hall!

The bikes are a little rusty and old but it just made us giggle all the way to the temple. The staff saw us struggle and immediately run out with another bike to switch.

Amazing facilities both in the room and in the hotel, where you can really relax! It was amazing to have breakfast by the pond and also to enjoy our private pool and bathtub. Also the staff is really kind and helpful. The location can be an advantage, since it’s away from the chaotic city center but easily reachable by grab or any taxi. The restaurant offers good quality and variety of food (special mention to the amazing coffee). I would definitely stay here again!

Only minor details: there was a paper tissue by the pool when we arrived and also we had some issues with the electricity in the room on our last night. Both issues were promptly addressed by the staff :)

Excellent location for visiting The White Temple. The view from our bungalow was incredible. So peaceful & tranquil. Breakfast was delicious (we both had the overnight oats) and my husband also had the Americsn Style breakfast one morning which he enjoyed. The service was excellent. Staff waiting to greet us at the taxi to carry our luggage, warm welcome from reception with lovely refreshing drink on arrival. We were treated like special guests and I've never had that before! We would 100% recommend this hidden gem. Thank you Doowall!

The location of the resort is excellent, being very close to the famous White Temple. It's a unique experience to witness the temple's beauty at both daytime and nighttime. Additionally, the resort has staff members who can speak and understand Chinese and Korean, which greatly improves communication. Waking up to the stunning view of a picturesque field and lake right in front of you is truly a highlight of the stay. I will recommend deluxe twin for couple / 2 pax traveller. the garden view twin room is kind of small.

The breakfast options were quite limited, and I noticed that no one seemed to opt for the buffet. Instead, all orders were à la carte, and the kitchen preparation was a bit slow. On the positive side, the resort itself is peaceful and beautifully serene. However, the road leading to the resort is rather bumpy, with no streetlights, making it very dark at night. It also takes about 15-20 minutes to reach Chiang Rai town.

Incredible service, scenic, beautiful views, swings, hammocks, paddle boat, push bikes, private pool was superb, very close to the famous white temple, blow up unicorn for communal pool, the small extra fee for a honeymoon package with rose petals in to the bath a small rose bouquet and a pandan cake was very worth it, breakfast was lovely, free snack bar was an extra bonus, pod coffee machine in our room, beautiful outdoor eating area with festoon lights at night.

Although the hotel was 25 minutes drive from the city centre it was well worth it. We hired a motorbike to be able get around instead of paying much more for multiple long taxi rides. But we also spent a lot of time at the hotel itself, as it was such a lovely place with a great cafe/restaurant and beautiful gardens to explore.

The sincere service of all the staff makes us feel warm from our deep heart. Their smile and politeness are very impressive. The environment is very wonderful,too. The green field around the small cottage let us enjoy the moment staying in the room.

The smell of the toilet is not good. There may be kind of problems about the toilet pipeline. Mosquitoes can not be totally avoided here.

Stylish rooms, comfy bed, pool and the view from the room was very nice. Girls at reception were very helpful and sweet. Great location for early access to the white temple to beat the crowds! We got photos of the temple with no one in the background which is normally impossible. Awesome smart tv's in rooms so you can synch your phone to the tv easy.

The cafe food is average. There was a bit of noise echoing from the hallway early morning. The pool needs a little screen to make them more private so you cant see into your neighbors pool at all.

The property was well maintained and the staff were really helpful with good manners. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The common area was cosy and clean.

Overall, I really liked the property and plan to visit again. If I did have to comment, then I would make the following suggestions: 1. The pillows are losing their shape; and 2. The toilet door is too heavy.

You have to select your breakfast and the breakfast time already the evening before, what is actually more sustainable then a buffet for a small resort like this. The location is very quit, if only some guests would behave more quit as well.

The nice looking round bungalows are very small. The curtains can't be close completely due to sub-standard curtain rods. The water in the shower take ages until warm water arrives, because the heater is far away.

Amazing stay, 15 minutes from the White Temple. The rooms are very clean and big, with a great view over the rice fields. The personnel was very nice and helpful. We also took bikes to go to the White Temple, it was very quick. Perfect for a quiet stay
