- Nice and quiet location, very chill local vibe, walkable distance to the park with lake, and also to the famous 9 storey temple of Khon Kaen. A night market is also around that park. - Nice view from the window, seeing the trees in the garden - Friendly and helpful staff. - One staff member (a young man with glasses) speaks good English. - The hotel provides laundry service at an affordable price. - Very good value for money

- A bit far from the modern area of Khon Kaen with modern buildings. - The water heater for the shower was a bit tricky to use.

Room was large and clean. Location was good for visiting the lake and nearby attractions.

No real complaints. Hotel geared for domestic travellers rather than overseas visitors, but reception staff were friendly even if very little English was spoken. Travellers with lots of luggage should note there is no lift at this hotel.

No kettle in room it only had 2 glasses and 2 bottles of water, part from that there's nothing to complain about

It's a block off of one of the main streets, which is a good point because of the reduced traffic. The narrow street is somewhat busy, but it wasn't really noisy. There are street vendors, restaurants, convenience stores and a Thai massage parlor (down by the lake) all within a five-minute walk. The staff always did their best to accommodate my requests by making a couple of phone calls for me, calling taxis and answering all of my questions. They were very polite and friendly. The room was cleaned thoroughly every single day, and the bed was super comfy.

The room was spartan and the shower, although warm enough, was extremely weak. The furnishings are old (but not the beds and TVs). The rooms could use a bit of upgrading.

Everything was perfect, few minutes walking from the lake … staff was helpful and kind. Big room and clean.

The doors of each room are hard to close, so unfortunately guests eased to slap them provoking noise.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. Loved the natural daylight coming in from both sides and also in the bathroom. Everything was really clean.

We had problems to find the place, as Google maps shows two Weerawan places and one of them is at the wrong location.

The location is reasonably central to most of KK, you will need a car. There are plenty of places to eat, a laundromat, 7-11 etc within very short walking distance
