With editors and deadlines hovering over me like a noose, this weary American journalist found a place where he could compose his thoughts and work. Thawapee’s spacious, cozy spots are all independent from one another, and you feel like your only neighbors are the plants, birds, and surrounding countryside. Mae Ram Phueng beach, with its soft swells is not far away, if you’re looking to learn to surf or simply want to meditate on the surrounding sand, sea, and sky. Rooms are spacious, well-organized, and cool - as neat and clean as any posh Rayong offering, but at a far friendlier price. Thawapee’s staff is most gracious, friendly, frequently rescuing you when you’re struggling with Google Translate. There is no better place in Rayong to stay than this wonderful family-oriented, budget resort.

Stayed many times now. Nice neighbours. Nice pool for relax. Free coffee in morning. Hot water 24 hour for noodle. Staff smile. If you like room cleaned just give key 👍. GOOD VALUE!! You need a motorcycle to explore really; but you can survive here without. Has Food and coffee shop. Big C mini and 7/11 not far if have motorcycle. I stay here when I travel between places it is good for this. I will stay again. RESORT ::: Please paint the rooms and buy new sheet for bed - and somehow make toilets smell better - this suggestion NOT complaint 🫡🇹🇭 you are doing a good Job thank you 🙏🥳😘

The staff is very professional and customer focused. The owners really aware of the customers and provides the best there is. The environment is calm, relaxing and silent. The food is good too really little cost. The service is great, the rooms are amazing, clean, lots of space and comfortly. We are booking this place the next time we travel to Rayong, for sure.

We would have liked a floor lamp or dimmers för the lightning in the room, just for the feeling of extra comfort. To be able to keep the AC going even if you are not in the room.

Far from the city, behind there is a forest full of birds and a pond with fish. Air conditioning and wi-fi work perfectly. The refrigerator cools quickly. There is a garage and a veranda with a table and chairs. The hot water in the bathroom is excellent... The beds and sheets are pure white... The television screen is too large to be considered small... We may have tiny ant guests in the bathroom. This is an environment in nature. We entered the wild and built houses. Of course, there will be ants or some other creatures. The money you pay can only be worth the free drinks given by the automatic machine that prepares 8 types of coffee, milk tea and hot chocolate in the morning... Please appeal to those who complain, even if they are a minority. Don't see everything as negativity in such places. Businesses like this, which are price and environmentally friendly, need to survive...

love this place for the price there is not better, stayed here 2 times & looking forward to returning, not much around, food is available for delivery, staff will organise delivery from menus in the room, 7/11 not to far away altho not walking distance, which has night market next to it, the grounds & pool are great its such a relaxing atmosphere, total chill 👍

The resort is very well kept and the staff are very friendly. It is a little of the beaten track but if have transport you are only about 8 minutes from some very nice beaches,also, the pool needs a special mention as it was the cleanest resort pool I have ever had the pleasure to swim in .. All in all a great value and enjoyable stay will visit again Thank you to all the friendly staff.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here. Rooms are large and clean. Nice clean pool aswell. Free hot drinks every morning in reception. Excellent value for money.

Only thing missing would be a microwave in the room. Abit isolated if you don't have transport

It’s a resort full of trees and nature. We got the room separate from other rooms which gave us total privacy. There’s a café inside the resort and a swimming pool. Calm neighborhood

The room is really new, spacious, good material, comfortable. Beyond my expectation especially for this price. It’s in a quiet area so better come by your own car. Plenty parking space.

No convenient store or any eating place nearby in a walking distance.

Very nice rooms spacious with great beds. Location was great with a nice pool for kid to play. Staff was great very polite allways helpfull. We will defenetly return when back in Rayong. Would recommend.Perfect
