From the moment we arrived at the Hotel Continental, we were greeted with exceptional service. As soon as we passed through the front gates, we were welcomed with refreshing drinks, delectable sweets, and plenty of warm smiles - just what we needed after our long journey. The gentleman at the front desk, Fessi, checked us in with a delightful sense of humor and kindness, and provided great recommendations for visiting the local sites. Our room was spacious, luxurious, and peaceful, overlooking the hotel's expansive and bright blue pool, surrounded by swaying palm trees. The dining experience was truly special - whether in the main hall or poolside, the food was absolutely fantastic. A huge shoutout to Bessi, the server with the great customer service and winning smile (he looks just like Cristiano Ronaldo!), as well as the woman with the beautiful eyes who made us the most perfect omelets to order. Seriously, this hotel is the absolute best. We recommend this hotel - from the top-notch service to the beautiful accommodations and delicious cuisine, the Hotel Continental is a true gem in Kairouan.

There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel - it is truly a lovely, exceptional place from start to finish. We have no complaints whatsoever.

Hotel Continental is in a great position to explore Kairouan on foot. The room we stayed was very spacious with a nice balcony with view on the pool. Enclosed parking. Friendly staff, we were offered makroudh and fresh lemonade upon arrival. Very good breakfast with lots of food options. Check out until 12pm on was convenient too as it allowed us to leave the car in the parking whilst exploring Kairouan.

Nothing really however the bathroom could do with refurbishment. I had an issue with my phone charger, it exploded as soon as I put it in the plug but I don’t know if it was an issue with the electrics or my charger.

Location: Good location on a safe street, just a 5-minute walk from the Aghlabid Basins and 20 minutes from the Medina. A Monoprix is conveniently located next to the hotel. Staff: Friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff. Cleanliness and Comfort: The room is spacious and comfortable, with amenities including shampoo, shower gel, towels, toilet paper, and a hairdryer. The hotel is clean, the outdoor pool is very pleasant, and the breakfast is generous.

I did like the staff here ! I had a little trouble with the AC in my room , they immediately changed it and gave me a nice sweet with a strong and cool AC . I liked the breakfast here and the fresh mlewi bread , the Gard on the gate was always opening for me the door with a big smiling! Very centrally located, 10 minutes away from the mosque and Medina. We really grew to like Kairouan that is so untouristic and a hidden gem. The hotel is somewhat aged: we had issues with the aircon and the toilet flush, and the staff immediately took care and repaired. Much appreciated. The restaurant is somewhat uninviting; instead of taking the evening dinner buffet, we recommend walking to El Brija, a fantastic traditional restaurant directly at the mosque - it surpassed all our expectations. Altogether, we would return to this hotel.

Excellent hotel. All the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, special thanks to Dorra and Rabab. The rooms are spacious and clean with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was excellent, and the location is close to all local attractions, just a 15-minute walk to the Great Mosque of Kairouan. Over all we had a memorable experience.

Didn't look as fancy from the pictures so we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Decent breakfast with buffet option - local and international quisine. There is a pool, but unfortunately we didn't have time to visit it.

The main hall has been renovated, but not the rooms. Quite old and would need a little upgrade. There is a bar in the hotel, but it is rather a nasty place. Weird hidden room, which hasn't been renovated, with lots of locals coming for drink. Horrible sigarette smoke inside. (although prices in bar were dirt cheap).

The staff in the hotel were very helpful. Worked great arriving with the car, as the hotel has closed parking on site. A short walk to the Great Mosque. Didn't use the pool to swim, but had a relaxing drink next to it in the evening. Nothing to complain really. Absolutely a bargain for the price paid.

Great location only 10 mins walk from the Medina. Secure parking. Large and well presented rooms, nice swimming pool area. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent check in experience. OK breakfast. Overall would definitely recommend.

The bar area was a nasty little room at the back with no care and attention. Quite expensive compared to similar hotels elsewhere in Tunisia.

The reception staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We arrived late after a long day of driving and although the pool was closed they kindly allowed the children to use it which really kick-started a great stay. The location is fantastic - within walking distance of the Grand Mosque and associated museums, and the Medina. It felt like a haven of tranquility at the end of a hot day's sight-seeing. Considering the price of the rooms it is exceptional value for money.
