Modern hotel with all the necessary facilities such as a well stocked bar, big pool with umbrellas and recliners for relaxing in the shade during hot days.In walking distance from the Roman archeological Park or a short taxi ride away.

Food menu was adequate but could be improved with a generous helping of fresh fruit such as watermelon and sweet melons which was in season and being sold by the truck loads on the streets. Come on chef adding fruit at breakfast and dinner will not hurt your budget and can only enhance the culinary experience. What about watermelon smoothies for breakfast or to serve to the guests at the pool ????

Very easy and welcoming check in. Guarded car park. The lobby and bar are smoky but once through the accommodation door it’s okay. Our room on the second floor was bright with double sliding doors to balcony with a table and two chairs and a spectacular view over the archeological site of Sbeitula!! There are places to put your luggage, a mini fridge, desk, chair and small table. The large bed has night tables and reading lamps. The heater unit works well and we were happy to find we could access the wifi in this room. The bed linens are good quality and clean, and the bed comfortable. The bathroom had a wee smell but is fine. The shower in the tub is great with excellent pressure and hot water, and doesn’t flood the floor - not even a drop. The vanity has room to put your toiletries. The hand and bath towels and bath mat are good quality and everything is nice and clean. Even though the room wasn’t sound proof we slept well as the environment was quiet and the other guests were quiet and considerate. Breakfast: well sorry for those that didn't but we had a good breakfast! Nice bread and buns, butter, three kinds of jam. Boiled egg, packaged cream cheese. Yogurt. A few salads, fresh squeezed orange juice. Nescafé with hot milk. And a few other things we didn’t try. Staff were pleasant.

No bottled water provided. Slight bathroom smell. Smoky lobby and bar. Door chain would be nice. Had to pay full rate in advance.

Lovely pool and nice views of the archaeological site. The staff were friendly and helpful - they arranged to have a fridge brought to our room. Good breakfast. Convenient location.

The public areas were rather too smoky for our liking and the blankets were mucky. The beds were amongst the least comfortable we have come across in Tunisia.

They gave us a dinner, even though we arrived pretty late. The room was nice, clean, overlooking the archeological site. It also had a balcony, which we liked very much. The location is excellent.

The breakfast was rather poor, not a lot of choices. Based on the dinner the night before we expected better.

The Sufetula hotel is located on the edge of the wonderful archaeological site, and the rooms all have windows towards the site, superb panorama; spacious and clean, large and comfortable rooms. The dinner buffet is cheap (35 dinars) and good and varied, and is constantly refilled. The breakfast buffet is less rich, but still good.

Good value for money, large clean rooms with a terrace overlooking the Sbeitla ruins. Has a restaurant and bar. Friendly and helpful staff. Free secure parking.

The room was a bit old and tired, and in need of updating. The breakfast is not great, nor is the evening meal - set plates with no choice or variety, and not very well cooked or presented.

Location is great , view from hotel is great. Peaceful and quiet area. Friendly staff. Clean hotel. Dinner was good and fresh made for everyone. Breakfast was poor, Guests must make their our Nescafé in a paper cup. Bread was from day before and difficult to eat. On my second day of staying I took my own breakfast buying from shop to the restaurant.

I was very impressed with this gem of a hotel! The hotel is in a great location, I can see the ruins from my balcony! Parking was super easy, the reception was very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately I don't know french or Arabic but they managed to find someone to help us in English. We checked in around noon, didn't expect to be able to get into that early (but we did), we really we're just hoping to grab some lunch. Well, it would seem they don't normally offer lunch, but instead of saying no- they whipped up a delicious and hearty portioned salad, chicken with fries and fruit for dessert. Our room was spacious and extremely clean. I was surprised by the large tub and took a glorious bath after wondering around the ruins. The dinner buffet was absolutely delicious! They had all sorts of fresh salads, plenty of hot options, and several cakes / fruit. Breakfast had croissants, bread, jams, porridge (?), Coffee/ tea olives harissa etc. The manager clearly works hard, and remembered us even though they had a largish group in house. I really don't understand why this hotel gets so many low reviews. Sure there were people smoking in the lobby, but the rooms were smoke free. The value and service was unbeatable. My only regret was not having time to use that beautiful pool.

Great hotel with a great view of the Sbeitla site. Big rooms with balconies overlooking the site. Not very busy, does have a bar and a standard breakfast service which was sufficient for us. The hotel has parking.

Good hotel with very beautiful view of the archaeological remains. The room is clean and the server is very nice. Big parking lot and very nice garden. The breakfast and the dinner are good with lots of options.
