We really enjoyed our time in this charming hotel located in the old town of Amasya. Everything is very close, and we visited all the main places by walking. The hotel has free parking and excellent Wi-Fi, which was very helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good with many choices. I am a coffee lover, and the hotel manager kindly made me try apple tea, it was delicious! Thank you so much to the manager, who was always present, kind, helpful, and available when we needed something. Our room was spacious, very clean, and full of light, with a beautiful view of the river and the city. The bathroom was also very clean. I really recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Amasya.

You will enjoy everything during your stay. Firstly, the view of Konak is awesome, some parts of rooms are towards high mountains, some parts are towards the green river. Konak itself has historical and at the same time very beautiful interior. When you walk to your room, you feel like time traveller during centuries. The design of rooms, yard, even the stairs make you feel in Ottoman times or historical movies. My special thanks to all staff for their kindness, loveliness, careful approach to each client. During your stay you won’t feel like client, you become a part of their cute family🤍 Ziya bey, Salime teyze, Ensar bey, Erkan bey, Fatoş abla and others that I didn’t mentioned are so kind to everyone🤍 Definitely, that will be my choice for next trips.

Photos : plafond, confitures, vue matinale The staff is super helpful and friendly, always around and available. They put a lot of efforts in making sure that the guests are confortable. Beautiful antic rooms, well refurbished. A very good breakfast with a lot of choice, especially the home made jams! They are so tasty I I couldn't decide which one I preferred and there are more than a dozen of them! (see picture) Since I got upgraded for a couple of nights, I went to different rooms and I can tell each of them has a boiler, which is pretty handy for tea! Waking up once with the view on the river and another day with the view on the mountain was very pleasant.

After driving for eight hours in the rain, I finally arrived in Amasya, and Google led me to the gate I had to drive through to get to the Ziyagil Konağı. The people at the gate called the hotel, and they then let me in and said that someone would come to meet me. I was in a bad mood after a long day, and frustrated about the very narrow road and tight parking I was faced with, but Ensar came to my rescue. He backed my car and turned it around and then led me all the way around the block to a nice parking lot, very nearby the hotel. He took my bags and sat me down at a table in the very comfortable entryway restaurant and ordered up an apple tea for me. He asked me if there was anything else I might want, and I mentioned a particular Turkish wine that I enjoyed on my last trip to Türkiye. Ensar walked over to the place next to the restaurant and returned with a brimming glass of delicious red wine. All my frustrations vanished, and Ensar and I had a nice long conversation about many things, including politics and the difficult history and relationship between Armenia, where I live, and Türkiye. It was a very enjoyable talk, and I was so impressed by and grateful for such hospitality. My room was very nice, and the bed was extremely comfortable. This morning’s continental breakfast was a great start to another long day of driving, and Ensar was there to wish me a safe trip as I departed. This family hotel is as cozy and wonderful as you could ever want, and Ensar is a gem of a manager!

It is hard for someone who is not used to driving in very tight quarters to maneuver a car, but Ensar understood this, and came to my rescue.

It's a high quality hotel. They have AC, fridge, kettle, soap, shampoo, slippers, some tea, coffee and sugar, and bottled water. Breakfast is very good, with a big choice of food, fried eggs are very delicious. Wifi was ok. The bathroom is very good. The hotel is in the old town, a bit difficult to park, but the staff is always ready to help.

In our particular room there was a small terrace under our window, on which the staff dry off the bed linen and towels. Sometimes we had a view of bed linen instead of the mountain view))))

The hotel is situated in a nicely renovated ottoman wooden building, in the historical neighborhood. This is the most touristic area of the city, just below the necropolis, and very convenient to visit the city. We had a lovely view over the river. The street is not accessible to vehicles, but there are parking facilities 150 m away and the staff helped carry our luggage for us. Very good breakfast, and books to borrow and exchange.

The view upon the river is nice, but it seems that on the opposite shore all the night life of Amasya takes place; with the echo of the mountains, it is a bit loud until late at night. Wifi was very unstable.

Lovely refurbished hotel under the rock tombs. Really helpful staff (including parking help) and wonderful terrace right on the river. Nice breakfast room. Right next door to excellent Yildiz Hamam (alternate days for men and women).

Not sure about other rooms, but 4002 (with its lovely balcony on the river) was tiny (had to climb in and out of bed over the end of the bed) and the bathroom was truly minuscule (although the shower was great). But the view over the river made it all worth it.

The property is very atmospheric. Everything is designed with a very good taste. It combines modern comfort with traditional historical elements. Host and the whole staff are super friendly. We felt as we were their personal guests. Location is absolutely gorgeous, right in the heart of old town. 5 star hotel quality service and breakfast. We stayed for two nights with a group of friends and everyone just loved it.

Absolutely recommended. We will be back. 😀

Location nice the staff all excellent 👍 I find most them they are family running they owns hotels 👍 beleive me it's one off the best hotel even i am going back again to stay in the same hotel after one week imagine i cancelled my reservation with other hotel and I booked in this hotel becz it's worth it 👌

Only some sound from the others room becz the building very old more then 200 years old so it's okay only the sound u can heard in the bathroom.

The staff was very helpful and kind at arrival, told us how to get to the property from the new bus station and offered us a delicious apple tea.It’s in the middle of the atmospheric old town but our room was in a quiet courtyard with views of the tombs from the landing. Opposite is a working hamam. Breakfast is delicious and you can watch the people going by from the restaurant.

As many people mentioned: the bathroom is small but we managed well - it is an old Konagi house and otherwise so lovely. If I could have a wish - and that is true for a lot of accommodation in Turkey and other places - that they have bed side lamps. It would be more comfortable at night
