Having stayed in Bodrum previously in large, all inclusive resorts I wanted a more authentic and peaceful experience of Bodrum and Turkey and this hotel ticked all the boxes. The location is within walking distance to everything and I felt very safe walking with my 2 kids. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We had the suite in the corner with a patio to the pool. I loved just walking straight from the room to the lounge chair by the pool. The pool area was never overcrowded. The best part of our stay at Hotel Centro was the very friendly and attentive staff, especially Ika, he was wonderful and always willing to help and assist in any situation. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will be coming back to stay here again.

Ika, the hotel owner, is especially lovely, and he will go out of his way to ensure that you are happy with your room and that you have a great experience overall. He is very accommodating and allowed me to keep my room past check out time at no additional cost. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable but affordable stay close to Bodrum centre.

The pool area was incredible! Ita from the staff was the kindest person ever. They really made my boyfriend’s birthday special. Put up balloons in our room and everything. The room is spacious and we had a HUGE TV with a balcony looking onto the street. The pool is worth it for the hotel alone, couldn’t recommend more!

The rooms had thin walls so could hear everything from outside the rooms and on the street. However I’m a good sleeper so didn’t bother me. The location is good, a 10 minute walk to the shops. However a 30 minute walk to the port, where the boat trips are. We got a taxi.

We were 3 adults sharing a room and needless to say the room was quite generous and up to standards. The staff is very welcoming and exceptional with any queries or clarifications you may have. Any issues or dilemmas you have are resolved by the team. They are very supportive in all aspects. We had a late flight and the team was generous to give us a late check out and allow us to use a room to change and shower from a full day walking in the city to kill time. The value you pay and get for this place is reasonable. They have a decent parking area (I recommend renting a car). Even before our arrival, we were contacted by the hotel's staff, who confirmed our room choice and sent us a welcome message. The check-in was fast and straightforward. Mr. Ika, who works at the front desk, helped arrange taxis and offered his recommendations for restaurants and attractions. The rooms, beds, and bathrooms were quite comfortable. The breakfast was good. At the checkout, we received a farewell box of Turkish sweets, which was very kind.

The rooms and bathrooms were nicely sized and comfortable, but I would suggest painting the bathroom ceiling to cover water stains from a past leak.

First of all we wanted to thank Ika for his hospitality and friendliness. He really made our stay unforgetable. He was always there to answer any questions, to help out with any request and even changed our room for a better one per our request. The room that we got initially was way smaller that we had expected. In general every staff member was extremely hospitable and always ready to help you out. The facilities were good with pool and the area by the pool being the highlight. The main building with the majority of the rooms could use some renovation to be honest but we stayed in a quite spacious secluded room by the pool so we were fine. The breakfast was ok, just enough to fill you up for the morning. The location was absolutely superb! Especially for travelers that stay in Bodrum with no car. The central street is literally 5 minutes away - there you can find all the shops, bars, restaurants, boats, etc. It was very convinient for us even though we rented a car for the whole stay. We were to tired to drive anywhere in the evening so we just went to the center on foot - excellent! In general I advice every traveler to rent a car in Bodrum as if you really want to explore and feel Bodrum you have to travel to different locations like Yalikavak, Gümüşlük, Gölköy, Torba, etc. Each of this places have something unique and you will definately have a more round up opinion about Bodrum as a region.

Some of the facilities were a bit tired, like the rooms that we initially got in the main building. It was very small, like even small for one person (and we were two), and it was just very tired and not very cosy at all. But that being said as i mentioned previously Ika (the staff member) promised us a change of room and we got a way better room the next day. So i cannot really complain :)

The room was great, amazing view from terrace to the pool. It is a great place to stay and relax as the place has a great vibe and amazing stuff that helps you with anything. Great location, walking distance to the city and Bodrum Marina. Highly recommend!
