We had an absolutely wonderful stay. From the booking through walking out the door at the end of our stay, Unal and his wife were amazing hosts. Just a few ways…a personal phone call after booking to make sure my details were correct, giving our taxi driver directions to the hotel to make sure we didn’t get lost, recommending and making reservations for us for 2 dinners (both wonderful), and finally, accommodating our early morning departure by preparing us a special breakfast. Just above and beyond on all accounts. AND the hotel (really a Bed and Breakfast by American standards) is absolutely beautiful with no detail spared. Can’t recommend enough and one of the more memorable stays in my years of traveling.

Our stay at this hotel truly captured the charm of Cunda Island. The building is a beautifully restored traditional home, filled with character. Mr. Ünal, the owner, graciously upgraded our room free of charge and was incredibly attentive, checking in with us daily and offering excellent recommendations for activities. The room was tastefully decorated, with complimentary water provided each day. We also enjoyed the delightful breakfasts served on the terrace, with small variations each morning that made the experience unique. It was a perfect blend of comfort and local charm.

It was easy to reach the centre and the harbour. Taxi rank and dolmus station were nearby. Good restaurants and shopping facilities were all nearby. Our host was very helpful and gave us good advice and help with all our questions. The extensive Turkish breakfast was plentiful and our wishes were fulfilled perfectly. The modern rooms and the bathroom were very well equipped and of high quality and great importance was attached to cleanliness. The interior was very tastefully decorated. You could clearly feel the experience of the host's hotel business. We felt very comfortable there and really enjoyed our few days there. Thank you for the lovely time.

What did I like? I can say that everything, the location is on a cozy, pretty, flower-filled street, close to all the main attractions of the island, good restaurants, coffee shops, excellent beaches. Delicious breakfasts at the hotel, served individually on the open cozy terrace, I will miss the omelette with cheese, menemen, simit and Turkish tea :) Thank you very much for my great stay at your hotel! Be careful when booking, because you will get something completely different if you allow it. There is a hidden way to get to the property by car. Very difficult. Do not communicate with the owner before arrival. There was no TV in the room. A lot of glitter, but little things mean life.
