The location was a positive and negative point. In the old city. Attractions are near by. Staf is very welcoming. Generous fruit and nuts plates were provided on the day of chick in)

Parking is like mission impossible! The old building while giving historical vibe, may be impractical in some moment (I had some old stone dust dropped in my eyes!). Our room was very very tight (205).

Historical old mansion, that keeps the essence of Mardin. Views in the terrace are beautiful. The hotel provides a quality breakfast. The staff is generally helpful, although no English is spoken, communication is done with translator. I ask to change my room the second night and they accommodate my request. Close to hotel there is an square with free parking available.

Considering that hotel rooms are caves, humidity and cold in rooms, particularly in bathrooms can be an issue for you. The first night the gave a room which in my opinion was not suitable. Wi-fi signal may be weak at times, this is because of old stone walls and distribution of the hotel. Prices of drinks in terrace are overpriced.

Everything was great from beginning till end - hospitality on highest level, very friendly and helpful staff. We got extra tip with main attractions around which worked perfect for us (all with maps and short description) Room was very beautiful and comfortable, bathroom apart shower had huge bath - but didn’t have enough time to used it. Bed very comfy, good and very quiet AC.. Had really good sleep in this 700 years old building. From terrace amazing Mesopotamia view. Breakfast very delicious… Miss already this gem and hope to back one day again

I can't say enough good things about this place and the people who run it. Mardin is a special town and the history and peoples of the region have an unfashionably ancient history. But one thing timeless about the region and it's people, which cannot be better exemplified than truly warm and welcome reception and treatment that I received at the Fairouz Konak Otel (hotel), is the deep and genuine hospitality of the local people. What a place and what a region. There is truly nothing like it anywhere else on earth and this hotel was the perfect place to encamp after long day. To the staff, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to spend time with you all. Thank you!

GPS is not correct. Drive to the end of the main street of the old town. 50 meters on the right there is a parking. At the end of the street there is a sign table of the otel. Go up the stair on the left and then towards the narrow street -50-80 meters, then a small tunnel on the right with a couple of steps and you are there :)

The area is nice ,a bit farther from the busy streets, but still very close and perfect for walking. This town is really nice and unique. Breakfast was great! The room and bed were comfy, nice size of the room and nice decorations. Kind staff and nice views from the terrace.

When you shower, water splashes everywhere and all bathroom is wet (curtains should be good to install). The view from the room is not exactly as on the photos, a bit different impression, but ok its marketing:) Nevertheless, the view from the terrace is nice. Water earlier in the morning can be a problem (only cold and low pressure), but this is in all old Mardin; later is all good.

The room 303 was a bit damp because the bathroom is deep in the old building, we had the feeling that the airconditioning couldn't handle the moist enough; new filters necessary? And advice to park the car in the street from Hükümet Cd. in the direction of the hotel, then walk a small but.

Homely, hospitable, very clean. They welcomed us with suggestions on places to visit. Their breakfast is warm & has a lot of variety. Despite being in a very old house, the building is well maintained & peaceful. I've stayed in several Mardin hotels & this is the best!

The location is very good - close to the center, but secluded from the crowds. The staff is very kind, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. There is a beautiful terrace with a view you can enjoy.

The room we stayed in didn't have any widows, so it felt like a cave.

This is the best hotel I could have been when visiting Mardin. Everything was great, starting from the breakfast, the room, and above all, the service. They are great humans that did everything for me so my stay was perfect. They even went further and helped me with details I would have never imagined. I think when the perfect service comes along with an amazing place and nice rooms there's nothing else to say, just go there! Tarek, the owner, is the only one I could speak english with (although with the rest google translate was fine), but they all speak with their hearts. I can't wait to go back! :)
