1. Quiet location on the edge of town. Pleasant terrace with view on the first floor. 2. Small but adequate room with all we needed. 3. Good air conditioner and large comfortable bed. 4. Simple but adequate breakfast with fresh products. 5. Welcoming staff, taking ferry arrivals and departures into account when making rooms available. 6. Easy walking access to supermarket and restaurants in town. 7. Extremely good value for money

Loved it here, a fab wee creole hotel on the edge of the village of Beausejour, had everything we needed and Loane is polite and superhelpful with advice... and generally just lovely - especially with my terrible french!! The breakfast is delicious and the room was clean and comfy. Its really handy for everything even if on foot as we were. I would totally recommend a stay here if you are on La Desirade x

We have spent a couple of weeks here at the Hotel Oasis the island of La Desirade that forms part of the Guadeloupe Archipelago. The old creole style hotel is very small but is excellently managed by Loane who does everything she can to ensure her guests have a relaxing time. The hotel is situated in the main but very small town of Beausejour which is where the ferry from Guadeloupe docks. The terminal and beaches are less than 400 metres from the hotel. The town offers everything you need, a couple of medium sized supermarkets, several restaurants, and beachside cafes and a boulangerie that offers a range of fresh baked goods. Throughout our stay Loane was a caring and highly considerate host ensuring that we were settled in the first few days and then gently assuring us that she would be on hand if ever we needed her. Nothing was too much trouble for her; and she was always extremely focused on making sure her guests enjoyed the apartment hotel and got the best of the local area. The hotel is basic but provides all you need for a quiet relaxing stay and you are even able to cool off in a small pool which is great to sit back in and read a book! For those that don’t want to cook for themselves the hotel provides a breakfast service and there are many options to cover lunch a dinner all within minutes from the hotel. For getting around the island there is a comprehensive array of travel option that include bicycle hire (both standard and electric), scooter hire and both car and ATV options. We will certainly be looking to come back again and will be telling our friends about this most welcoming hotel apartment. We cannot recommend Loane highly enough and would like to go on record as thanking her for making our stay so enjoyable.

The WIFI was a bit hit and miss which is the same throughout the island.

Small rooms, but very clean. Everything you need is there, modern AC and even a fridge in the room. Lovely little hotel for a few nights in the middle of nowhere. Loane at the desk was very friendly and helpful.

Shower curtains were a little smelly and could use a shower themselves.

The hotel is well located. Host was helpful, very sweet and professional. The rooms are good and breakfast very tasty. They also have an amazing restaurant, the best I’ve tried in the Island We recommend and will come back
