Excellent, walkable location for UCLA and Westwood. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The renovations they did recently are great. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. Free parking is incredibly helpful (and rare in the area).

Location was prime (a block from Westwood casual dining options, Target, Trader Joe's), and the room was quite spacious. Our room was pretty quiet because it was towards the end/back of the hallway. Second night our upstairs neighbors were pretty loud at 6 am (probably just walking around and talking at normal volume, but the "stomping" and chatter woke me up). The rooms are older but it was just fine for our needs. Really pleasantly surprised by the roominess of the room, esp. for the price we paid & proximity to UCLA. Complimentary breakfast not high quality but fine to stave off hunger.

Rooms are old/dingy, a little noisy in the hallway & with upstairs neighbors. Staff was helpful but I wouldn't say "friendly."

I love the location of the hotel. It's nestled near West Village, which has lots of places to eat and shop. There's also a Target and a Trader Joe's nearby, which came very handy. The UCLA campus is within walking distance and definitely worth a visit. During my stay, I graduated from UCLA, so it was especially meaningful to be so close to campus. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast selection (they have a fancy pancake machine!). Although smaller than what you’d find at larger hotels, it had everything I needed. You could also take your meal back to your room, which was a great option. The room itself was very spacious and included a nice kitchen area to heat up food or prepare coffee. The staff was always friendly and helpful!

I wish the room cleaning had been done a bit earlier—sometimes it would be 4pm and our room still hadn’t been cleaned. I also wish some details, like the bathroom ceiling, had been better maintained. And more bathroom amenities would be great! We only received small bar soaps and shampoos. I think having refillable products in the shower could work much better.

The locations next to UCLA and Westwood is great if you do business/leisure there.

If you don't need UCLA or don't want Westwood, then stay somewhere else. It's not worth it. This is more a reflection of the neighborhood than the hotel, but it's all cramped and small there. There is parking (good) but tandem parking is not great. The alley is not great, either. One of the front desk people was weird about parking. Didn't let me park tandem in front of our other car and sent me around to park in the back for no obvious reason.

Nice hotel in Westwood, L.A. Spacious rooms, plenty of free parking, complimentary basic breakfast in the mornings, and a comfy bed. Everything was great, except for the Wi-Fi — possibly just in our room, as it seemed too far from the router

The Wi-Fi is choppy and glitchy — if your device connects to a more distant access point, the internet becomes nearly unusable. It was a bit slow but usable on a laptop, while on a phone it was almost impossible to use. Combined with the weak 5G signal (1 out of 5 bars) in our room, this was a bit of an issue

The breakfast area is too small, it sits no more than 10 people. If you arrive few minutes after 7am, you may not be able to find an empty spot. However, you can make your breakfast and take to your room. Parking is also too tight. But plenty. Never had an issue finding a parking space.

Great location. Plenty of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Close drive to Santa Monica, Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Nice to have free parking. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious. Pretty quiet neighborhood. The free breakfast was nice to have with options of various breads, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal sachets. There were even hard boiled eggs.

The elevator is a little wonky so we just started using the stairs (better for us anyway). The parking spots are a little tight but hey there's free parking.

Parking is inadequate and hazardous. Spaces are too small to maneuver into safely and then try to get out of your vehicle; some spaces require double parking that mandates you leave your keys to the car with the front desk in case someone has to move your car. Our rental agreement does not provide for any other drivers of this car. Had to park on the street.

Rooms were spacious, very convenient as close to Target and Trader Joe’s and eateries. Beds very comfortable and the rooms were well stocked. Breakfast was adequate.

Our rooms were on the 3rd floor but the elevator was out of order. So had to lug all of our luggage upstairs. Would have been good if there was some notice of the elevators being down as there was a notice outside the elevators showing that they have been under maintenance for sometime

Walking distance to our doctor at ucla! Tons of restaurants within very close walking distance. Even Target and a major grocery store. Mark and Angel were incredibly kind and accommodating. Very reasonable rates for that location. We were very happy there and returned for all 5 doctor appointments!

The lighting in the bathroom is not good for any woman who wants to apply make-up. I did mine standing at the window to get natural light. Parking spots were tight, but hey... it's the only place in West LA with free parking, so who can complain!
