Lovely little hotel, so close to Santa Monica Beach and Pier - literally a two minute walk. Easy walking distance to some great shops and restaurants. We had the Alcove Suite which was perfect for a family of four. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

A doorway through to reception without going via the heavy front gate would be handy.

A few minutes to SM pier and beach. Safe, clean and a very friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable beds. Has a safe and refrigerator in the rooms. Accepts pets, but call on pet policy.

The street noise didn’t bother me, but be aware that you are on a main street and may hear some street noise. Quiet hours are at 10 p.m. so no loud parties going on here.

We loved it. Parking is pricey and it's a bit of a Tetris game with other guests but all staff are absolutely amazing and helpful. Value for the money, no, but nothing really is anymore. There is a small fridge in the room and a microwave at the front desk. Coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The rooms are decorated perfectly and the beds are super comfy Lots of displaced people around but we felt safe the whole time (possibly naive Canadians tho haha) We would definitely not hesitate to stay here again.

I think they did a great job. Wifi doesn't reach the 2nd bedroom but that may not really be there fault.

The apartment was clean and spacious enough for our requirements, and a good base for the 5 minute walk to the beach, Santa Monica Pier, the ocean facing restaurants, and only a 10 minute further walk to the shopping areas and cheaper eating establishments for less formal dining. There's good Starbuck's 3 minute walk on the corner of Olympic and Main for breakfast bites and coffee. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating.

Nothing really. The apartment was as described, the TV and Wi-Fi work great and if you take a laptop and HDMI cable with you, you can watch your own streaming channels. One or two items of furniture could do with an update, but nothing that spoils the stay.

The hotel was a short walk to the beach, and had a pretty courtyard outside the room door. The staff were all really nice, and the few other people we saw were also nice.

Nothing, really. It would have been nice to have gate access back up to the hotel the way we came down to the beach, but that was not a real problem, as we could just walk around to the front.

It was right on the water! Perfect location for the trip we planned. Great staff and comfortable cute little room. Would definitely be back.

The only thing I didn't like is that there was no breakfast in the morning like some other hotels have. They did have a little area in the office that you could get coffee and some other items if you wanted.

Close to the beach, staff is very helpful and good about making sure the right people are parking in the already limited parking area. Permanent residents are very friendly.

Couch in 2 bedroom is spent. Shower tub is outdated or broken and fills up with water while taking a stand up shower. Parking fee!

my room was horrible. see the pictures I requested a change of todo for my second night. staff was accommodating and I was able to be next to the room of my daughters, and share the common balcony for the second day. but this place doesn’t qualify as a hotel at all. rooms have no micro, no fridge, no coffee and not even a phone to call front desk. if you want coffee go get it at the “lobby” and to warm up any food use the “common microwave at reception” no food concession at the premises. the access to the beach displayed online can be use only on your way. the gate that connects to the beach belongs to another property and to get back to the hotel you have to go around the block. luckily Not a long walk. location is pretty much what this place has to offer.

I had stayed at this hotel before and will do so again should I revisit LA. The location is excellent and the cost of a two room suite offers very good value for money in an expensive city.

More storage space for clothing would have been an improvement. There were occasions when the reception area was not open.

Perfect location and you cannot beat the price. Nice setting--the grounds of the hotel are very tranquil. Bed was super comfy.

Parking was a bit of a pain but not a deal breaker. If you reserve your parking you can park on the forecourt but I believe the charge is $35? We didn't reserve (wasn't sure we'd have a car) and got sent to the municipal parking lot (very clean and brightly lit) a block away and only had to pay $8.
